- The boys get some good ole airgun hunting in this episode, with the FX Dream-Tac Compact firing Hades pellets. We know this gun is meant for 50-70 yard shooting, but we like to take it to the extreme when we can safely. Norm makes an unbelievable shot with his, and there is a ton of sub-50 yard shooting in this episode as well.

we might have a raffle one day buddy but I doubt it will be one of our guns. we have so many people that want to buy our guns and im like not a chance lol. we put a ton of work and time into tuning these perfect for what we use them for
@@normanshanley7417, I agree with that, when I had my Condor in 25 cal all the work in shooting different pellets, checking the groupings along with the FPS along with adding different items to tune the gun to either shoot better or offer more power. I sold that Condor only because the guy that wanted it knew I had dropped a lot of time & money in twerking it to being a good rifle. Just doing a build my Impact on Utah airguns I found out you guys dropped some heavy coins in them & what I guessed on cost I can only dream to do. If I ever got to shoot one of your guns I would feel honored, They are something special for sure.

I threw a mini carbon fiber .22l cf bottle on my Dream Tac Compact the day it arrived,
and the new stock Finally just arrived.. I went with a MDT Composite Carbine Stock. It incorporates an adjustable cheek riser on the buffer-tube..
Perfect cheek-weld / eye-alignment now. I'm so friggin' stoked to try it out.
I brought it into work today and had it on the counter... Doors locked / Curbside deliveries only..
[Black] customer walks up to the door, hands me his ID and credit card to run his order..
Then out of nowhere, tosses his arms up, and says: "Hands Up Don't Shoot"!
I looked at him funny and said: "Huh"?
He pointed at the Dream Tac behind me and he's like: "C'mon dude - gun . . white guy / black guy . . "
Hahahaha when it finally clicked we couldn't stop laughing. Never a dull moment..

Fellas, great shooting! I was typing in some comments and poof! they was gone like them sparrows. I love how you not only show case a variety of models/types of weapons but mostly the skills, optimism and application of obviously hard work at gathering dope, etc to put it in front of your viewers. Speaking strictly for myself, the take away for me (and others hopefully) is that it doesn't matter what one has for an airgun. Shoot the damned thing and find out what it can do! Thinking about the airgun community in general I am humbled by the growing list of contributors that just pump out information and entertainment. Oh the technology too! It is easy for me to get caught up in the "good, better, best" thing and lose sight of the basic joy of this sport that brings us together. That is my pontification for the day. One of my favorite sayings is “beware of the man with one gun, he might know how to use it”. How much better is shooting the Dream-Tac Compact offhand compared to the Maverick Compact? I'm pretty sure a Dream-Tac Compact would do everything I need but the Maverick Compact is pretty awesome for not much more money with a bottle and more power for occasional longer shots?

Couldnt believe you nailed that 150 yard shot with a 22. Those Tac Compacts are no joke. I hear that FX is coming out with a new narrower 380mm barrel that will allow the plenum and larger bottles -- and the superior liner. FX says they should hit the US market in July. Cant wait.

Slow getting your info on the video but sitting here & enjoying you guys great shooting as always. 1 Question I was wanting to ask on you using the Hades if it isn't too much at one point to remove the pellet from the bird & show what it looks like when it hits. That long-range shot Norm Made would have been good to see how the pellet did on expansion. ( not asking for you to do a surgery on video but maybe cut the video & then show the pellet afterwords. It just a suggestion if you don't mind. Posted this video in 2 airgun groups as I know some will enjoy this video as much as me. Great shooting & look forward to another great video soon.
Thanks so much lone wolf! The pellet after impact is a good idea. I might get pushback for saying this but i am pretty dang sure the pellet did not expand at that range. I just dont think the energy is there. But there is something about the design that makes it harder regardless of expansion. Thanks so much for sharing it bro really appreciate that!

Great shooting lads how is it that the Hawke scope is a much better picture?
It really gets along with the camera. For the cam i think the simpler a scope is the easier it is to film through. I do think hawke glass is better than swfa glass. But thats not whats going on here. Its just a mistake on norms settings. Just like we have t always had it right for the Athlon and element scopes. But we are getting better at that with settings...i hope lol

I’m racking my brain trying to decide between a Wildcat and Dreamline Compact. I’m leaning on the compact because I’m not super sure I’d be ok with a Bullpup. Nice shooting guys!
I’m surprised you didn’t have the power plenum. All three of my Dream Tac Compacts (.177, .22 and .25) came with power plenums installed. They all perform flawlessly.

Those pellets may not be expanding, but they must make a really good SMACK out there judging by how fast the other birds get the hell out.
I'm new here. What makes these birds a nuisance animal?
Maknly the fact that they spread disease from one farm to another and defecate in the animal feed. We have pested at farms where the workers wore rain jackets in the barn bc of all the bird poop.

Nicely done, I tried .22 hades in my impact on minimum settings, can’t remember what the velocity was now but they weren’t grouping very well 🥺. What’s the max velocity for hades to remain stable?
Thanks. Im not sure on minimum speeds because we have just been shooting them at full power. Ours are flying at 850 and love it. I think norm shot them out of a classic at 920 and it loved that as well. My guess is thats near top of the mark though

Hey Gil! Im not sure how many times we aired up. Lots. Of course not all shots we take make it to the video. Hits and misses. Carious reasons but i would say our videos end up being maybe half a hunt normally . Id bet we reaired at least four times that day

Not that we have personally found. A superior or a slug liner yes, but not a pellet liner

The impact is about $2,200. The tac is about $1,100 If you are in the states go with Utah Air for buying they are awesome

No man i dont think fx has anything to do with hades. I could be wrong here and im sure someone will jump on me if i am, but so far as i know hades are a jsb only thing. They do shoot really well out of fx barrels though, so thats probably why you are seeing fx guys lovin on em.

hi i am from the united kingdom and enjoy your vids shooting pidgins but dislike you shooting small birds.30years ago we had large groups of starlings and now non left.i now you think 30 years is a long time but its really not.you mite regret it i do.nice pidgin shooting.

Most likely only think they will regret is not having them too shoot later on but anything that doesn't belong in that area doesn't need to be there as they start causing problems. Just like down in Florida there are Iguanas, snakes & several types of fish that are taking over the waters & lands & killing everything. So the U.K was smart & eliminated one problem I truly fail to see what the problem is on this, ( by the way Starling are still in your country it has just declined by around 79% give or take ) if they were not being a pest then more likely they would not have been eliminated plain & simple. I guess next you will complain about the people in your country killing rats.

jwollheim nah just the 22. We wanted light guns with air conserving shots so we went 22
