The power of the slug hit there on the last pigeon was well shown as the bird's feet were spread by the impact. Easy to see with the slo-mo view.

I love that. We thought we had good dope, but we had a tornado warning and crazy barametric pressures.....hahaha you guys cared less about the storms and more about your groups. I love it!!! Blows my mind how much the baro can affect the shots. One thing I’ve noticed is those “little things” REALLY stand out when you shoot and air rifle, even when compared to a rimfire.

@@68Whiskey U bet guys glad to help all I can for you. Love spending time with the Kids shooting. I have got that noisy old rifle hitting dimes at 50 with a ton of tuning and practice. Barrel is bit bent so you have to know to hold half inch left lmao. Won lots of beers shooting with it guys cant figure out how we hit anything hahaha shhhhh. Our secret. If I ever get back to work we hope to get a used wildcat or something fx anyways All the best gents we will be waiting to watch the next vid together as always.

Great video. Love the sparrow explosion. And great job getting norms impact to shoot 38.5 nsa slugs tha fast. I can only get 965 with 33.5 nsa slugs with power plenum. Reg at 150.

I thought NSA 33.5 should be around 920 to 930 FPS ?? Any faster destabilises the pellet ????

PS do you think a power plenum works on FX Dreamline ? some say no not long enough .
It works on norms classic just fine. There is always a give and take. If it was bigger would it work better? Probably, but then you are adding length and such. If super power is wanted you go fx impact, but for the dreamline that addition is a nice little power add, considering its not meant to be a beast in the first place. I mean thats just my opinion but i think of the dreamline as accuracy guns with pellets more than monsters with slugs
Thanks for another cool video guys. I understand about dust on your gear. I carry a can of “Dust Off” in my arsenal or gear care wherever I go. I guess it’s just CO2 in a can with a red straw. You guys are going to get me to buy one of these Impacts if you keep it up. What’s killing me is the fact that I can’t seem to find any permissions and scope cam gear keeps letting me down and doesn’t preform as advertised as usual. I hate the idea of spending 400$ on a GoPro and then another$? For a special lenses plus a side shot. I’m thinking ATN and then I can record at night also. Any input would be great. I have the Phone Scope for about a week now...it’s ok but not the same quality...ya mean? I don’t know where to go to get in to the scope cam game. I want to share but not very tech savvy...and I’m not even getting into editing...hasn’t worked out so far for me so go. My TH-cam channel is my name. It all IPhone7 straight up! norm usually has a compressor in the back of his truck! and a generator lol i know it is expensive, but hands down a sideshot system is the bees knees for me. norm likes eagle vision also but i just cant get used to it. a sideshot with a camera instead of a phone took us from one level to the next. on the atn i just dont have experience with them to comment. sounds like it could work though

Hea Keith I was board & was watching this video again & something caught my eye, @ 1:24-1:25 just above the pigeon you were shooting I noticed a pellet coming in from the rt impact above the bird & hit the Silo. ( you can see it also on the Slowmo replay.) So whoever was on the rt missed. LOL♣♣♣♠♠

What liner are you using with the 25 cal. Ive tried the 36.2gr NSA with the stx 600mm 940 fps and the 500mm about 890 pellet liner did pretty good. My 30 loves the 47.2 with a 600 mm stx at 930. The compact 500 is no joke smashes crows at 100 yards and 25 gr JSB pellets.

Exactly my point! Lamborghini vs honda...? I have built customers and a personal Acura back when I was building and playing with Hondas that did and still do eat Lambos for lunch on and off the track .for a fraction of the price with more reliability and accessibility. But they were not as pretty as those lambos.

Thanks man. Pounding pavement is the only real way to start from scratch. I suggest dressing neatly, and stopping into farms with a business card. Make sure to say right off its an airgun so they know you won’t be scaring livestock. Before i say “shoot”. I say i do pest control with airguns so its quiet and safe.

I think he has at least 5 farms he clears out, the one way out with the horses is one very nice area (high-Class place ) & bet you be glad when any pigeons come around. Been board out of my skull so been watching yours, steves ( when he as in Florida) along with Erlis vids. Gone through almost 3 tins of pellets just keeping in practice.

@@68Whiskey No, it's the pellet liner. The slug liner was on backorder, so I didn't order it. Then the Superior came out. I had it ordered 7 minutes after the email came from Utah, but they haven't shipped it yet. It's woodchuck season, the hay is coming off the fields. I need my liner and slugs!

Hey guys love your videos they very informative and thankyou. I see you got permission to shoot a farm and that is exactly what your doing. When your shooting the pigeons don't know if you realize or if its ok to shoot and put .30 and .25 caliber holes in the roof. Your going threw the birds and right threw the roof. Every time you shoot theirs a new hole, lol thats what I call power. If its ok what your doing just Disguard this message and carry on. I just didn't want you to loose the ability to hunt their.
Hey joseph, I'm not sure what you are seeing bud. Every shot has wood behind it to catch the slug, or they are on concrete silos, or on rails above anything we could hurt. we are very careful to avoid the holes in roof situation, and it would be definitely not ok. a slug lodged in the wood is no issue, through the tin? we got some splainin to do lucy! thanks for the concern though i know its genuine!

Hey just got the m3 in 30 cal. would you share setting? front and rear regs, micro, macro, tank valve lines. im not able to pull any consistent accuracy yet. No mods to it, and willing to shoot slugs or pellets for very long distance squirreling. Thanks

Bought me the 25 caliber FX dreamline been waiting for a good PCP for 20 years driving me crazy because after 2 and 1/2 months of waiting I finally got the rifle and now I can't find a pump anywhere for it I'll put an order somewhere and I'll wait till 3 weeks and cancel it driving me crazy the struggle is real.. tried everywhere I can think of does anyone know where anybody might have one.

Great shootin as usual. Question- do you shoot mainly .30 cal or higher these days? Reason I ask is cuz I shoot a seneca eagle claw .25 and its hitting around anywhere from 50-70 fpe cepending on power setting, but for some reason the garden pest gray squirrels don't drop very well despite center mass shot at around 40 yards? Some Wil, drop, but a number don't. I'm using baracuda hunter extreme hollow points too. It Wil. Flop them, but then they get up and run off sometimes. Is that pretty normal if the shot isnt perfect with an fpe and hollowpoints at that distance? (I'd think getting hit with hollowpoint at about 60 fpe would be a massive hit on such a small animal? I've seen videos on TH-cam where they hunt monkeys for pest control with .22 fx mk3, and it just hits like a freight train at long distsnces too. [I think they are getting around 80 fpe?)
Head shots,the mid torso shots,leave them with energy still,they more then likely die for sure,just are able to run off and die

what do you do with all the rock doves you kill?
It depends on where we are. If they are clean birds, we eat them. if they are from a farm that uses non organic methods we leave them for the farmer to decide what he wants to do with them
Hey Norm what is your tune on your Impact MK II in 25 cal and the hybrid slugs used? and did you have the 600 or700 mm barrels for that tune?
I know its a 700 barrel. I think he is at 150 bar hammer maxed and external plenum
i want a compact barrel kit but since i’m already at .30 cal 700..what do y’all recommend? i like .25 because all the pellet (slug??) options are there. love my .30 so should i stick to that for some short style swangin & bangin.?

Hey shane, everyone that has shot a compact barrel in 30 is in love with that setup. I think any caliber you would be happy, but the thirty is the cats meow for sure! Norm actually has one on order right now!

Cant go wrong with either. But i would recommend the impact bc no matter what if you get into this you will end up buying one. Its the king of pcp airguns.

Trying avs slugs for the m3 25 cal. Question is..I ordered 30 grain in 2513 diameter, is there a particular diameter you use for the standard superior liner? Tough to justify spending the money to test every slug and every diameter on the market. Just curious if you have any input on what to try and what to stay away from. I’m addicted to your channel, you guys are very generous with your knowledge and experience. Plus you guys are awesome shooters, fun to watch!
6.35 mm is the zan slugs that my 25 really likes. And we are trying the avs slugs out of norms leshiy. Very soon.
I have seen all diameters work well in our guns depending on which liner it has. I would say to get a couple in each diameter and you will see a pattern emerge (The gun prefers one diameter over the other ). Thanks for all your support man!
