That’s a tricky one because some mods don’t always replace files but simply add files. So In those cases you could just delete those files that were added then repack your folders and will go back to before the mod. That’s part of why I always recommend copy and pasting files instead of dragging and dropping. Because you’d be able to see the names of the mod files added in the event you want to manually delete them from a folder. As a way to actually make backups of your forge files would be to make copies of your already modded Forged files. It costs a bit of space but copy your Data PC patch 01, Data PC resources patch 01 and and any other files you’ve already modded and repacked and paste them in a separate folder somewhere. If you add a mod and it’s crashing your game, you can always copy and paste those forge files you backed up and just overwrite the ones in the game directory. That will bring you back to before the mod was added! Hope that is clear.

@kiekeyz I did. I'm just gonna start from the very beginning and maybe I'll figure out where I messed up
@ ok my friend, keep me posted, I’m here to help in whatever way I can
@kiekeyz update. I was in business but then I added the loaded jpc v2 and now the game crashes on start
Edit: fixed the issue and back to smooth sailing
@ let’s go!!!!!!! I’m so happy things are coming together for you my friend 😄😄😄😄
will the mods work with vortex mod manager?
Hey there friend, I have never used vortex’s mod manager before so I cannot say for sure
It definitely won't work. Vortex only copies your files from a folder to an other, while in Breakpoint you have to unpack game files with Anvil then replace sub-files within them.
@ thanks for explaining that my friend. I have never used vortex before so I didn’t know how it works. It sounds like it would work great for games like Cyberpunk then.
I have only one question....
1. Modding won't ban the account?
@@thevarunproject no. Breakpoint removed Battle eye in a recent update but I do not recommend running mods if you plan to play the Raid or Ghost War/PVP. You can play with your friends in CoOp with zero issues while running mods.
@@thevarunproject it works even better if you and your friends are running the same set of mods.
i dont have a teammate file
@@bangbangx776 it has to be there. After you unpack the data pc patch 01 forge just search for Teammate. If you didn’t have a teammate file the game would simply not play.z
my game crashes before loading up
Did you overwrite the forge files and download all the build tables?
hey i still dont know how to do this can anyone help plsss
Hey friend, just take it slow and follow along with the video. All you need to get started is there in the video.
It can be a bit daunting but just be patient and work through it.
im new to this mod stuff and im really lost
@@astro8684 I understand. That's why the video is here. Just follow along. Get Anvil, the buildtables and the prepatched forge files from nexus mods and then go from there. just be patient.
When I go to open the anviltoolkit it says “to run this application you must install .NET.”
It doesn’t let me open the anviltoolkit
i dont have a DB Container , lord this a little stressing fr
@@KaiiNvx it’s there and yea I know it is. Just take your time. It took me over a week to get it and make the guide.
DB container is INSIDE the datapc patch 01 file toward the top
this only works if you have the game on steam
@@theXops9 no. I have the game on Ubiconnect
@@kiekeyz i litteraly tried everything and it doesnt work ive researched all i could and all ive found was that vortex and nexus with anvil was only working with steam. Any thoughts on that ?
@ just don’t use Vortex. I know it’s meant to make modding easier. I’ve never tried to use it. So just forget about vortex if you have it on Ubi and you can follow the steps in the video. Prepatch forge files, build tables and then you can start unpacking and repacking.
@@kiekeyz dope thx man ill try it right now
@@theXops9 Awesome. if you run into any issues, just drop me a comment and I'll try to help
Why is it so complicated 😩 at Games Likes Ground branch or Ready or Not its so much easier , the modding .
@@Patrick_doubleu lol it is daunting for sure… and yea I heard it’s much easier in those games for real. I’m not sure why it’s so complex for breakpoint, maybe because Breakpoint is always online? Lots more steps involved.
@ What has it to do with the reshade folder , Cause I downloaded the Basic Game and ive opened the folder . There is No reshade folder , is it a Mod ?
@ you’d have to download the program “reshade” first I believe. Most reshades are just an .ini file that you load into the reshade software once you start your game.
@ download reshade here. reshade.me
Bear in mind Windows 11 does not like the mods
They work fine for me on win 11, what issues are you having?
@@lewisofthehoood The game crashing upon launch
Yea I’ve heard that about Windows 11 too, but honestly, In my experience, usually If I start having crashes at launch it’s usually because of some kinda conflict with files.
This is my first time modding breakpoint but I’ve been modding games like Starfield, Hogawarts and Cyberpunk for a few years now with very little issues on Win 11
@@kiekeyz funny enough it for me the I deleted the mods and tried to reinstall then now they dont work
Englisch is not with me today
