This is a more niched video targeted at people on PC that want a guide for modding Breakpoint that takes away all the guess work. I know just how hard it was for me to figure out some of the mods, so I decided to create this guide to help others. If you found any value from the video, be sure to let me know in the comments and drop a like rating on the video. Thanks for watching
Absolutely my friend. It was a bit daunting for me at first especially with Breakpoint. I’ve modded other games like Cyberpunk before but breakpoint seemed a lot more complex lol. I hope the guide helps
If at any point you run into issues with mods and want to go back to vanilla, just delete the EXTRACTED folder and drag and drop the files in the BACKUPS folder in the game directoy… this will overwrite the files that have been modded and save you from doing a full reinstall… I also recommend not doing too many mods before you test to see if they are working. These 6 mods work great together. But to be safe, start the game after every 2-3 mods you install.
Just delete the extracted folder and drag and drop the vanilla files from the BACKUP folder into the game directory. That will give you a clean slate and bring you back to the vanilla game without needed to do a clean reinstall.. Just make sure you have the pre patch forge files and all the build tables installed. Those are critical. Otherwise, read the descriptions of the mods you install to make sure it doesn’t conflict with any others. Those can cause crashes or bugs. All the mods I’ve showcased in my last 3 videos are All compatible with each other.. Also, try not to install more than 2-3 at a time before you boot the game up to test them out.
@jaseanwalker6000 anytime my friend. I’m happy to help. Give that a shot and then try again. Modding this game can be super frustrating sometimes, but stick with it. Once you get a good set of mods running without conflicts, it will make the grind worth it. The game is so much better!
Hey Johnny, it shouldn’t be possible that there isn’t a Teammate folder so let’s recap. Make sure you download the pre patch forge files from Nexus. Open Anvil toolkit, go to settings and turn off compression and put it to zero. Once you get in and unpack Data PC 01 Forge there HAS to be a teammate folder. Once that’s done Type Teammate into the search bar in anvil and it should pop up. If you’re still having trouble, shoot me an email at Kiekeyzgaming@gmail.com and I’ll do my best to help you get things working.
well im on pc and i have the game on steam and i followed everything and the mods arent working once again another video and i cant get it too work i dont understand what im doing wrong
I’m super happy you got it figured out!!! I don’t have a video for vests but I can guide you step by step. Which specific vest would you want to install?
@@Patrick_doubleu lol it is daunting for sure… and yea I heard it’s much easier in those games for real. I’m not sure why it’s so complex for breakpoint, maybe because Breakpoint is always online? Lots more steps involved.
@ you’d have to download the program “reshade” first I believe. Most reshades are just an .ini file that you load into the reshade software once you start your game.
Yea I’ve heard that about Windows 11 too, but honestly, In my experience, usually If I start having crashes at launch it’s usually because of some kinda conflict with files. This is my first time modding breakpoint but I’ve been modding games like Starfield, Hogawarts and Cyberpunk for a few years now with very little issues on Win 11
