I just did a 5 day trip in upstate New York, I bought a boat heater that runs 1500watts plugged it into my Honda 2200 generator and slept like a baby.

But do you have any tips on how to not freeze on the Luno since the pad isn't insulated?

Use a flat foam mattress between the Luno Mattress and the car floor really helps. If you don't have a foam mattress an emergency blanket (the gold or silver ones) work really well as well

The easiest option is to sleep on top of a fleece blanket or other soft blanket from home and it adds a ton of warmth.

Put some aluminum bubble wrap from home Depot under the mattress. Or under the blanket.
