IMPOSSIBLE CLIMB!!! First To The Top Wins $1,000 - King of the Hill 2022

- After a two year hiatus, the impossibly steep, King of the Hill hill climb has returned to the small town of Brightwater, New Zealand! And I was there with my trusty KTM Killer (electric start Yamaha YZ250 2 stroke) to meet it head on, and try and improve upon my performance from the last time, when I wasn't quite able to get the speed necessary to clear the giant road gap jump half way up...
More than 50 riders attempted to climb the hill, and they were each given three go's throughout the day... But did any make it up? This video tells the whole story in all it's epic, engine screaming, bike flipping glory! I hope you enjoy it.

@@Seawolfaka Right? I hate people who act like you don`t earn money from TH-cam. There are TH-camrs that earn millions of dollarsa and not per year but every month. Look at Mr Beast, that guy earns more than some tv stations. But yeah a youtuber who gets paid from TH-cam ads, maybe even has some sponsors in the video and a patreon link in the description and some idiot comes and is like "Oh wow bless your soul for giving us free content from the kindess of your heart"

Hill climbing is a blast,enjoyed watching you all trying to get up that hill. I had a RM370 that I loved to climb with. The power band loved to flip you tho. Look forward to the next vid.

Super cool to see what you guys get up to on the other side of the planet, thanks for this video!!!!! Little tip here on your starts, take a page from the fast guys note book and bring your engine speed way up when you launch, you are starting at a huge disadvantage causing you to bog.

My old man was NZ Hillclimb champion once or twice back in the 60's. His ribbons all got old and fell apart but I have some of his trophies somewhere.
We used to ride hills like this in Cal. You were balls out almost all the way up or you never made it. Towards the end if some of the climbs it would get steep so you found a happy medium to keep front end just off the dirt. So much fun miss those hills.

What advice would you give to someone getting into filming. Your is amazing. I ran a go pro last year and hated how it looked. Id like to film my journey this year, new bike, new year and new class

So let me ask you this what are the classes is at 2:50 two-stroke against 250 4-stroke? Or is it basically -a 125-2stroke against a 5002-stroke. ( The size difference or I should say performance difference between a 250 3 stroke and a 450 2 stroke just no comparison)

Whatever gear you start in has to be a low enough ratio that you are not bogging the engine. Change sprockets or go down a gear, but your engine should never be falling on its face like that off dirt.
When u shoulder goes it gets easier every time use to go 2 3 times every rygby game and on the mountains when u bin it
why go in third? just rev the absolute hell out of it in second. maybe im wrong though
