Ryan we already have the CCS adaptor for Model S & X, needs a minor harness upgrade fitted, cost £280 UK.

Some of these clips I’ve seen several times now - would it be possible to see more of you talking or maybe a split screen with the clips and your face? CCS Adapters for MS and MX are available in Europe for quite some time, older cars need a HW and SW upgrade to utilize it. Greetings from Germany

I’m pretty sure the note on pressing & holding to latch high beams and windshield wipers were through the dedicated buttons for each, not that you had to press and hold high beams to latch windshield washers.

Has there been any update on the Tesla redoing the wiring looms on their cars to reduce the amount of wiring installed in their cars?
I remember a couple of years ago Elon saying something about being able to reduce the amount of wiring to a fraction of what most cars need. Plus I remember sandy Munro being really excited about the prospect

In this latest video you Mentioned Tesla insurance, is it reasonable and how do you go about getting it I haven't ordered a car yet but I'm planning to it's in the next couple of months I've watched several videos but most of them don't explain when you're checking out what you have to do about insurance I have a good driving record but when I get the best insurance for the best price I can i'm interested in the model three performance and I realize that insurance is going to be a little more expensive I'm also wondering if you're coming out with a 2022 soon, Thanks Ryan

Ryan, can you post where the CCSI adapter will be sold at? I went to the Tesla site and there is nothing there yet... Would love to get one on preorder as I tow travel trailer with my MY, and there are times I have to rely on 3rd party chargers. Right now, I'm using a CHAdeMO adapter that is hit or miss because there are usually on one available at an Electrify American charger and quite often not functioning. Any extra info you my come across would be helpful!!

I want those smart headlights, but didn’t I read that they’re not legal in the US (yet)? Hopefully the regulators catch up with reality on this. If they added an air suspension and those headlights to Model Y, I might take the plunge and trade in my Model 3.
Ryan, have you aware of any planned Model Y release dates in the UK?
Its really cool to learn two YES! Two new colours are to be launched at some point next year, a metallic darker red and possibly a return of Silver, Germany has been fitted with a state of the art spray booths. About time too- I think a revision of a colour pallet is needed. The larger battery cells will be used once Berlin has, firstly, been signed off by local environmental government, lastly once the battery factory is online in Berlin too, in 2023 they'll be fitted to model Y as mentioned before. Lots to look forward to in 2023 especially in the UK.

Ordered LR RW Model Y over a year ago and Tesla account updated last week to say "prepare for delivery in 2-6 weeks." Telsa Delivery also texted last month to verify delivery location, so I believe I'll finally be taking delivery of my LR RW Model Y.
Holding out for Cybertruck next year hopefully, but might cave and get a Model Y before next Summer.
What is the battery warranty
cannot find any info on when will the model Y be released in the UK... I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a series 3 but would be pissed should the model Y come out shortly after

@Ryan Shaw So the reason for why the S and X can't use the new adapter is because when you open the charging port you'll notice that the S/X has much less space than the 3/Y, the 'Karen Lock' as I've found the best thing to call it so no one can unplug your car at a public charger because the lock doesn't work also doesn't work for the same reason, it could probably be fixed if you make it so it exends out a bit more so you could put an adapter on, it'd probably be yet another adapter but it'd work, hopefully they make an S/X version with this extender build in for this reason

why rear-wheel drive when front-wheel drive cars are considered to perform better in the snow. I live in Sweden and here we have snow a few months a year
I felt the same. I think it is mainly for dry street performance plus there is AWD for snow. However, this new RWD is better in the snow than old 70's RWD due to computers.

Today's news you mentioned Cybertruck is due out 2022, this what many of us have been planning and waiting for since many have long time orders, myself included.
My wife and I attended the share holders meeting via internet as most did. I believe Elon said 2023 is when expected Cybertruck delivery since models Y and 3 needed to ramp up within the two new, Austin and Berlin factories. This includes the 41/80 cell production that is needed for the Cybertruck.
Did I here this incorrectly, because that would excellent if delivery is still 2022!

It’s pretty obvious that all Tesla’s with the yoke has a storage software option that is yet to be enabled due to beta but already inbuilt in cars..

Does anyone know why Tesla insists on all-glass roofs on their cars -- especially with the risk of fracture in the case of severe weather (common in the midwest)? It's also extremely inefficient during the summertime placing significant additional heat load on the air conditioning system. A standard metal roof makes much more sense.
I have one of those LR RWD MY orders. They tried to strongly talk me into LR AWD at the current price or they said they'd cancel my order. They said waiting for either a 4680 MY or RWD MY, was not an option. They seem to have forgotten about me for the time being so it's a 3-way race between MY RWD, MY 4680, and order canceled.
Thinking about why the Tesla model 3 and Y might get an air suspension, and all you have to remember is under what circumstances the car would need to squat. Perhaps performance versions of the 3/Y may get cheetah stance to help improve 0-60 more
Air suspension is for better ride quality, especially on these heavy Tesla boats. As you mentioned, also for launch mode and raising front end up on steep driveways/speed bumps.

No, but the horn will honk and the wipers go, etc as you brush over the various buttons.
There are raised bumps between the turn signal buttons. And the buttons provide haptic feedback when touched.
All clearly insufficient, imo.
They need to adjust the agressive steering. Too sensitive.
I had one forwarded collision warning and hard break when someone cut me off, and it brought my 100 down to a 97 I’ve brought it up to a 99 but can’t get the hard break below.2% even though I’ve driven over a 1,000 miles with 100% over 8 days. Plus the forward collision is only at .7% per 1,000 miles and should have gone to 0 since I’ve driven over a 1,000 miles since then. I don’t know how many miles I need to drive to improve my score. I need a 0.1 on break or a 0.2 on collision to get my 100. 🙁
I was wondering about that. Would need human intervention to review footage to clear that from system

Glad to hear I'm not the only one bitten by a false forward collision warning screwing up their score. If they are going to use this tool for pricing their insurance I'm really unlikely to buy that insurance.

One of the reasons given for moving the HQ to Texas is the high cost of housing in the Bay Area. So Tesla moves to the most expensive city in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax. HQ has large number of well paid employees with options to exercise. Tesla just sub-leased 325,000 sf of HP headquarters space in Palo Alto, doubling their space in town.

I don't think the new suspension will make it to the 3 and Y. It costs a bit to have and especially to replace if they have issues with it. I honestly would prefer to not have it just because if it breaks out of warranty it wouldn't be worth to replace. What I would love to see are ventilated seats.

You are joking right?? What are you even doing with that reservation LOL. I would have definitely just payed the extra couple thousand for the dual motor. Has good range, MUCH quicker, and so far hasn't even depreciate in value at all. You essentially could have just drove the car for free...
Did they try to talk you out of it? They put mine in some suspended state that would have ended in my order being canceled if I hadn't reactivated it.

The kicker is this… if instead of giving them the $2500 deposit at the time, I invested it in Tesla stock, that stock would be worth more than the car.
@@usa-ev They haven’t ever contacted me about it. I believe at one point I had to select something in my Tesla account to keep the reservation which I did. I literally ordered it the night the debuted the car.

There is no one answer here. It's a continuous process and sliding scale while other factors are also impacting price. If you really want to get a handle on it I'd suggest watching Battery Day.
With how crazy demand for EVs is growing rn, it probably won't bring any price down.

I’m from Ontario Canada. My Model Y is estimated to come end of February - end of March. I don’t expect air suspension or 4680 cells but what features do you think will be available for the 2022 by the time my vehicle is manufactured/delivered?
You can order and put in the stipulation you want only a Y with 4680 battery and air suspension. I did that.

@@nikdeo6410 you have phone the Tesla advisor as I did and check out the price yourself, my friend who went with me locked in at 57.5 k yesterday for Model Y 4680 batteries. Check it out on Monday . Had to put $250 deposit. I did it with the stipulations it was the 4680 battery and locked my price in which 45k a while ago. Make the call and check it our ask about the federal point of sale of $8000.00 which Tesla does not control but it looks very promising as I type this.

I am thinking the reason they sell CCS adapter in Korea first is that, Korea has "Public Rest Areas" on highways, and in these Rest Areas, there are government owned restaurants / shops / restrooms. However, Korea's government only allowing non-Tesla chargers to be constructed in there, so Tesla owners are very frustrated, that they need to get off the highways (almost all highways are "TOLL ROADS" so you need to pay more money if you want to get on highways again) in order to charge at Tesla's superchargers.
I really hope adjustable air suspension comes to the model Y!!!

the car i want right now is a rwd 2 door hatchback long range that simply soars throgh roads while being able to carry some shit and park in big busy cities
The prices in the CyberTruck can be subject to change. Tesla is not obligated to deliver that pice point so it would change due to inflation and more.
I am worried the price will keep going up. The are multiple price increases per year, this last one 2,000. By the time I save up the money it will be 10,000 more expensive. Tesla is my favorite car right now and I don't want to be forced to buy something else because the Y has a base price of 80K.
