What was your bike set up (chainring / cassette)? Last time I went to Italy (Rome, Norma, Rocca Massima, Lago di Nemi, Lago Albano) I took my Crux with the stock set up (40T chainring / 11-42 cassette). Wish I would've had a road set up. The riders I met wanted to show me around (destroy my legs). I'm from Miami...ZERO elevation. I mostly suffered from cramping.
Hey Victor, Thanks for sharing your setup, sounds like a cool trip! I was running the crux with a 48/35 in the front paired with a 10-36 tooth cassette, and I use this for both road and gravel.
