also Formula 1 cars are not allowed to touch during a race. Any contact that is deemed deliberate is classed by stewards as ‘causing a collision’ and may incur a variety of penalties. These can range from time penalties to points deductions, depending on the how deliberate the contact is.

Deliberate contacts don't really occur in F1 unless it's something like Schumacher 94 and 97 championship deciders. The cars are to fragile at those speeds and you don't want to make contact. If you would want to take someone out of the race you should prepare for dnf or serious damage. Crashes are too unpredictable, you can destroy your car and the rival may be totally fine.
You don't need to crash deliberately into someone to cause a collision, in fact most of the crashes are caused by a mistake, misunderstanding and misjudgement. No one wants to make a contact with another car

Ferarri could have 1-2 for sure if only they pit charles earlier.

10:26 Charles could have made it but Ferrari ruined his race by leaving him on used hard tyres that were really slow

Leclerc got massively screwed by ferrari strategy again here. He would have been the winner with the right tyres

I suggest you react to "Can a regular person drive a real F1 car" on youtube. Fascinating.

The Mercedes car this year is worse than the Ferrari. Charles lost places because his tyres were old and Ferrari pitted him late
