What I love about this? He's still the same humble man as he was back then. Great love for him. God bless the 60s!

😍Smokey was so common sense and humble. Great looking too! I love his songs so much.

Smokey has always been humble. I met him once back in June 2002 at the Experience Music Project in Seattle, Washington. A really charming guy. Had a great conversation with him too about his career with the Miracles. I was only 18 at the time too. 😊

Why weren't ALL of The Miracles interviewed ? BOBBY , RONNIE & PETE are sitting RIGHT THERE with SMOKEY !!

willcat i agree. No offense, but i would’ve been VERY annoyed by that if I was member. My thinkin would be “why are we all here?!! They just talkin to him!!” They were good sports cuz they stayed 2gether 4 more years.

I was wondering the same thing. One clue is that by this time, the group was known as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles rather than just the Miracles. The Supremes were also now known as Diana Ross and the Supremes and Miss Ross was by now dominating the interviews as well. It also reminds me when Diana Ross and The Supremes appeared on the Johnny Carson Show about this time. They were introduced by Johnny and then they sang a song. After the song, Mary and Cindy suddenly vanished into thin air and Miss Ross just as suddenly was sitting on the panel by herself to be interviewed by Johnny. Mary and Cindy were gone and not mentioned at all for the rest of the interview. How cold!!

Big Bobby Rogers (glasses) really studiously thinking about the same subject. He (and Ruffin) were the one's who didn't look away from shyt during the 64' bus tours passing through the South. I wish he'd have had the chance to speak out.
