*While the DA wiki lists dates for the deluxe editions, this information seems to conflict with what Dark Horse Comics/Books (the distributor) site states the publishing date is. As DHC/B states an earlier date that the wiki (as well as being a more reliable source than a fandom-wiki), I went with the publisher's dates.
*As for the dates for the UK - Titan books, I struggled to find sources online, so I went with what my physical copies stated the publishing date was.
*For length, I went with Kobo.com's page/word count, because they've been pretty reliable with other books for me personally. Different editions (deluxe/ebook/uk/us) will naturally have different word counts/page numbers. They're all roughly the same length, however. So the numbers I listed should be accurate enough to work as a reference point.
*Images used were combinations of digital copies of images from the book covers, in-game screenshots, official concept art, and lineart included in the deluxe editions of the novels. (None of the artwork you see was mine, there's so many artists involved, but go check out the wiki if you want to look further into them).

    Hello everyone!
This was a rollercoaster to work through, and gone through so many different drafts/edits/recordings, so I hope I've not missed something/gotten something wrong. (If you believe I have, please put a comment and I'll check/pin if it needs pinned for corrections.
I've tried my best to avoid spoiling anything in the novels, but when you're doing a guide on them, it's hard not to go into some detail. I've made anything I'd see as spoiler-y as vague as possible, and anything else is just plain informative.
If you truly don't want any spoilers, perhaps skip Upsides/Downsides/Final Thoughts in The Novels sections. As I said, I keep things pretty vague, so don't worry.
    Additionally:
    1. The Upsides/Downsides/Final Thoughts contain more biased/subjective opinions, of course, compared to the other sections (I tried to reason some points out, but inevitably I must interact with 'feelings' because good storytelling relies so heavily on it.)
    2. I've posted this video on reddit at my bf's insistence, and I'm actually really nervous about stepping into that more public area of the Dragon Age fandom, as opposed to my own little corner...
    Have a great day, everyone!
    👋

This was exactly what I’ve been looking for ever since purchasing these books. Thank you for taking the time to cover all this in such detail without spoiling anything. So appreciated. And this was incredibly well put together!

Don’t know if you’d ever be up for it, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on the graphic novels in a similar fashion, as well as the World of Thedas books. I know that would be a huge undertaking, but if there’s anyone to do it, it’d be you!

@mapocolops This is a great overview and good information on the books without spoilers!! But, audio books may be better for you overall so you could listen as you did other things as well!

This is such a great video! I just got a friend of mine into Dragon Age and they asked about the books. It's been a while since I've read them so this is perfect!

I was waiting for Dragon's Dogma 2 with biggest expectations ever for a game and it ended up being like worst game ever. But at least I saved my money and invested it in another 'Dragon' game and it's books- this one. I never gave DA proper chance to see what it is about and after playing Origins I can only say the lore and characters are amazing (2nd game was not that good but these days I play games mostly for lore, explorations and dialogues anyway). I still didn't play Inquisition but found out there're books as well. I specially love it's darker tone and I'm glad that transfers in the books as well. Wanted to listen to audiobooks but later decided to buy them and decorate my home with them after I finish reading (next to Witcher books and it says something about how DA impressed me already even I didn't start reading yet). I'm watching this while my order is on the way and it's very helpful. I will combine games and books by chronological order of events so this was very helpful, thank you.
I'm also positively surprised to see many women covering DA regardless of is it game, book, audiobook... and honestly would gladly listen your audiobooks about this theme, your accent is really nice to listen and I'll be following this channel after I delve deeper into this since I'm very new to DA. Cheers.
