- Keri Shahidi, better known as ChocolateMommyLuv, is a mother, a wife, a sister, and executive producer and co-principal of 7th Sun Productions alongside her daughter and business partner, Yara Shahidi. 7th Sun seeks to tell stories about Black and brown joy rather than trauma and sorrow, with the understanding that everyday human experiences of the Black community are worth sharing.

I am so envious of her as a mother. I really hope that I will be like this one day. You can say a lot about Yara Shahidi, but one thing is that her parents love her dearly and have given her a lot of attention and nurturing.
Keri is SUCH an inspiration, a badass. Yara is a Marvel. I really enjoyed this talk, delving into her journey. This interview was so well led.

what a beautiful mother! as a daughter of a mexican mother who was deeply traumatized throughout her life, we grew apart when i so wished we could have grown together. if i ever have a little one, i sure hope that our relationship can be as loving as the one keri & yara have.
