CAMS is champion for next gen.
1. It is backed by the HDFC managment so they wont be replacing it.
2. Its customer stickiness is also great, no fund house is interested building their own backend so easily, because they want to focuse on the core business which is Asset Managment.
3. Cams will be beneficial of the insurance sector digitization along with nsdl. Which is huge market for both of them.
All these info are from CAMS DRHP
Backing of a company doesn't mean it will stay forever. Companies definitely look for gains, once they achieve their target, they might leave it.
To your second point, an existing fund house would secondarily work on the backend for sure given CAMS is a monopoly, no competitor likes monopoly in business.
Didn't really get your third point if it's meant for future growth and prospect for CAMS?
@@TheYoudhruv But What about current vauations.It is super costly even if we consider 20 plus growth rate for next 10 years.It is also not impossible for competitors to win the market share from Cams.Not seeing this price is justifiable enough.
