I just booked my tickets to Vietnam. I'm deciding whether to split time between Mui Ne and Phan Rang or just do Phan Rang for kiting. Phan rang looks great

Very timely video as I'm thinking about trip to Phang Rang this season. What kite sizes did you use during your stay?

      @@ffwebdesigner Thanks. I weight 78kg and thinking either to take 8, 10, 12(or 14). Or 7 (which I still would need to buy), 8 and 10m.

@@viltnieks no way. if you plan to go to my hoa in main season (nov-feb) your chosen sizes are WAY to big. i'd take 6 or 7-9-11 with your weight. forget anything bigger than 11/12. you won't need it. i even bought a 12 just for phan rang. and used it only 3 days. wind is really strong. read the final notes in the video.

@@ffwebdesigner thanks for concern. I read your warning at the end. I like jumping so yes, that sounds somewhat sketchy with shallow water and reef, but well at least it's lagoon and more flat. Maybe I'll look to get 7 and go with 7,8 10m kites. Did you went to Mui Ne and kited there as well?

@@viltnieks mui ne: 15 years ago. crowded, choppy, instantly deep. rather take a 6. 7 was a lot on 5 days with my weight. also, 8 is almost no difference. 6 8 10 or 7 9 11
