    Goes to show even a little skin in the game matters.
    All kinds of behavior would change with even 10% exposure to the potential loss that a choice could lead too.
    For example, if you told people there was a $4573 penalty for developing diabetes, quite a few people would change their behavior. The real cost to a health insurance plan is actually much higher.

      Would be interesting to see how to align incentives long-term, super hard in insurance

      @@startups the incentives WERE aligned before the IRS stopped taxing benefits and Reagan forced hospitals to take all patients.
      I understand not wanting the full cost of devastating illness to fall on a family, but there still needs to be some incentives.
      Frankly, the current system is a disaster of distortions and Obamacare made some things and kept a lot of things that weren’t working.
      I like how Singapore does it myself. They force people to save for medical and retirement. But you can also use it for a down payment on a home.
