I knew the whole story about him being a real person and about all the music he recorded but never knew until now that he was an actor!

Great video! It was crazy they released a punk album but even crazier is they toyed with the idea of a black metal record.
The Chipmunks and black metal just seems as wrong as dipping an Oreo cookie into a glass of Coca-Cola.
He was a pretty good singer
ROSS BAGDASSARIAN was an enormous talent. His songs and sense of humor lit up America and are immortal!❤ Almost every school kid-and adult!--knew the lyrics to his songs.
And let's not forget "Hello Muddah. Hello Faddah": the Camp Granada song.
I wonder if there's an album with all of his songs on it. If not, there should be. Maybe ANTHONY SCIBELLI and ROSS BAGDASARIAN, JR. could collaborate on putting one out?

What's the purpose of having a stage name?!
Shorter for display, easier to spell, easier to pronounce, more personality, for privacy for their family, to disambiguate from another famous person or from a very common non-distinctive name (e.g. John Augustus Smith might just become John Augustus)...and unfortunately sometimes to hide ethnicity, though likely not out of shame. I like Kirk Douglas's real name: Issur Danielovitch Demsky and chuckle at the idea of Robert Zimmerman being the folk star of all time.
Well I’ll get straight to the point: do you think you are a good person? You might have thought about it before, or you might have not. But your answer is probably yes. Now the rest of this might get personal, but remember, I can’t see-or hear you reading this, so don’t worry. Now let’s have a look at the Ten Commandments. You don’t have to believe in the Bible to take this quiz:
Have you ever stolen something? Yes no
Have you ever looked with lust? Yes no
Have you ever used the Lord/Jesus/Christ/God’s Name as a swear word? Yes no
Have you ever told a lie? Yes no
You probably answered Yes to, at least, two of those. There are six more. A bit of math would tell you that (10 divided by 2 =5) , out of the Ten Commandments, on average you probably answered Yes to five of them. Do you still think you are a good person? Now I’m doing this because I care about you. You could die at any moment. Your heart may stop right now. And I’d like to see all of you in Heaven. I don’t want you to go to…to...to...to…what was it again? Was it perhaps hell? We have all sinned. Nobody is perfect or worthy in God’s sight. In fact, the only way our sins could be forgiven, was if we offered sacrifices practically every day. We all sin every day. We look with lust, we lie, we blaspheme, we swear and we steal without giving it a second thought. Imagine all those sin and guilt offerings we would have to offer… but we don’t have to. Because God sent His one and only Son Jesus, to die for us on the cross as THE sin offering so that whoever BELIEVES in Him will be forgiven and have eternal life. He took all the sins that will ever be on Himself. He paid the price; i.e. He’s the Person who paid the fine for the stack of offences on the Judges(God’s) desk, so He could let you go. That is how great His Love and Mercy for you is. He has no reason to spare you, apart from His abounding Love and Mercy. You just have to accept His forgiveness, repent, get baptised and turn to Him. You have been warned. Do not reject Him.
