yea it is, this is the best of grave, this is their best album i remember when it first came out i couldn't believe how heavy it was, this was a long time ago and I even got to meet them in person at the record store where they were autographing albums they are really talented especially this album :)
yes they do, the vocals on this album to me are the best Grave vocals ever, it does sound like the mould waves, and the band of fiery lava, when I first heard this album over 20 years ago I was ADDICTED to it as well, I listened to it over and over again and had a lot of memories to it as well and then I finally met grave on their "Into The Grave" tour at a record store with a bunch of other Grave fans, it is a day I will always remember as that was when it was all about really heavy metal :)
One of a few death albums that makes me happy to have been born in 1991. Apparently, my estranged father would be blasting this album along with Dismember's Like An Everflowing Stream and Death's Human to me as an infant. Even now, I can't go a single day without raging to Into the Grave. An all-time Death Metal classic, arguably the best to ever be produced. All hail GGGGRRRRAAAAAVVVVVEEEHHH

i cant belive the name "grave" wasent taken before this band. also proud of their Gotland heritage since i also come from the island. Such a small place, yet so much influence along with Dismembred and Entombed.
C'est un fabuleux album de Death Metal Viking comme seule la Suède sait le produire, "you'll never see" défonce aussi, ces deux albums sont d'ailleurs dans mon top 40 de mes albums favoris de Death Metal. L'album "souless" m'avait beaucoup déçu. "Grave" s'était selon moi rattrapé avec "burial ground". Je conseille l'écoute des albums sensationnelles de Bloodbath et d'Entrails (encore du Metal Suèdois à son meilleur, oui la perfection fait partie de ce monde). Unleashed aussi c'est du très bon. Merci d'avoir publié ce joyau de Death Metal.

Zajączek. Raz z fanem Deicide podróżowaliśmy po okolicy. Test. Jak to wtakich miejscach zaszczycił nas tuptem wyżej wymieniony stwór. Czmychał przed oświetleniem. Wołam - gonić, łąpać, wycelować, zabić. Obślinił się i jąk jęcząco zaczął się tłumaczyć, że jak to , no wiesz, prawie histeria, on nie. Brawo-pomyślałem. Test na niegłupotę zdał. Ciekawym czy uznał się za twardziela czy nie? Lecz człowieka leżącego z chęcią dobijał. Kretyn. Toć po to zimowych nie zdjołem, by zionowi niucha nie prasła.

I first heard about Grave from a color ad on Metal Maniacs magazine. Then I heard Wes play You Are Deformed on his Houston show Sweet Nightmares or his other show From the Depths. It's heavy asf. I could listen to Leprosy and this back to back the sick vibe would continue.

yea it is, that's the way this album is and its like no other album ive ever heard and ive listened to them all, it just has really catchy rhythms that are simple but complicated at the same time but placed at the right times which make them extremely heavy, they have some wicked effects also on their guitars which they use with those catchy rhythms too which makes this album one of my all time favorites:)
there's nobody like grave or this album, this is the best grave album ever made and one of the heaviest albums ever made, theres nothing like it but there are other good bands but not all albums are good, MY DYING BRIDE is a great band also, there early stuff as well as their new stuff is all very good and an old band called 'incubus' and their album ' beyond the unknown" is a great album too :)
right on me too ive been a fan of this album since it first came out, i even got to meet them on their tour of this album at a record store when it first came out years ago and i was just amazed when i heard it as it is one of the heaviest albums ever made so yea i know exactly what you mean i always come back to this album to get the real heavy metal i like and only this album as it just has that certain heavy sound to it .... :)
heaviest album ever !!! it's just the way they strike the guitar on this album that makes it so heavy it's the way we used to play back then, where you really emphasized palm mutes on the guitar and very heavy power chords with deep deep voice and all timed just right but not overkill or stuff that doesn't sound right, only the best of really heavy metal all done right is what this album is .....:)

yes they do, the vocals on this album to me are the best Grave vocals ever, it does sound like the mould waves, and the band of fiery lava, when I first heard this album over 20 years ago I was ADDICTED to it as well, I listened to it over and over again and had a lot of memories to it as well and then I finally met grave on their "Into The Grave" tour at a record store with a bunch of other Grave fans, it is a day I will always remember as that was when it was all about really heavy metal :)

Apparently, my estranged father would be blasting this album along with Dismember's Like An Everflowing Stream and Death's Human to me as an infant. C'est un fabuleux album de Death Metal Viking comme seule la Suède sait le produire, "you'll never see" défonce aussi, ces deux albums sont d'ailleurs dans mon top 40 de mes albums favoris de Death Metal. L'album "souless" m'avait beaucoup déçu. "Grave" s'était selon moi rattrapé avec "burial ground". Je conseille l'écoute des albums sensationnelles de Bloodbath et d'Entrails (encore du Metal Suèdois à son meilleur, oui la perfection fait partie de ce monde). Unleashed aussi c'est du très bon. Zajączek. Raz z fanem Deicide podróżowaliśmy po okolicy. Test. Jak to wtakich miejscach zaszczycił nas tuptem wyżej wymieniony stwór. Czmychał przed oświetleniem. Wołam - gonić, łąpać, wycelować, zabić. Obślinił się i jąk jęcząco zaczął się tłumaczyć, że jak to , no wiesz, prawie histeria, on nie. Brawo-pomyślałem. Test na niegłupotę zdał. Ciekawym czy uznał się za twardziela czy nie? Lecz człowieka leżącego z chęcią dobijał. Kretyn. Toć po to zimowych nie zdjołem, by zionowi niucha nie prasła.

I first heard about Grave from a color ad on Metal Maniacs magazine. Then I heard Wes play You Are Deformed on his Houston show Sweet Nightmares or his other show From the Depths. It's heavy asf. I could listen to Leprosy and this back to back the sick vibe would continue.

yea it is, that's the way this album is and its like no other album ive ever heard and ive listened to them all, it just has really catchy rhythms that are simple but complicated at the same time but placed at the right times which make them extremely heavy, they have some wicked effects also on their guitars which they use with those catchy rhythms too which makes this album one of my all time favorites:)
