If it makes you feel any better; I played this in my last year of orchestra, my freshman year. I played bass, this song has stuck with me throughout many years. Ive graduated over 2 years ago now, this song wont ever leave my heart for some reason
2:09 my fav part (I’m biased because I’m a cello player) we’re playing this in my high school chamber orchestra, I have to be first chair since my stand partner who is better is staying online for the rest of the year and he’s a senior, and I’m only on 10th grade
reminds me of a small village turning into a grand society with awespiring buildings towering over the kingdom so much improvement happening at once it all goes too fast before we know it its the future
I need my orchetsra to play this, im in 8th grade and were playing almost 10th grade pieces this year. Our other 2 pieces are called "creepers in the castle" by Ralph Ford, and the music from la la land arranged by Robert Longfield.
“10th grade level” can vary, this counts as a Grade 3 piece from the scale of Grade 1 to Grade 6. For reference, Egmont Overture would score at Grade 5. But it is a wonderful piece, the sixth and seventh graders are playing it where I go.
I wanted to play this piece so, so, so much but I never suggested it even though the teachers were taking suggestions, I regret my life choices so much now
My high school just played this for their orchestra concert and I just can't stop thinking about it
Which group
We are about to as well, we'll be laying it next week friday
@@That_G0th_Guitarist there Thursdays from now for me. I’m currently on break.
Mine too! I’m not the best violinist, but it was really fun (even though I got lost a lot 💀)!

I'm giving my director a list of songs to listen to, I'm truly hoping she picks this song to play. I stumbled across it and I just love it

Same dude, mostly because I’m a cello player
Life is like pencil led. You can break it or use it for something great.
Damn I didn't know johan died... he has so many great songs. Hate that we lost him.
I never thought Hal Leonard would do something as beautiful as The Theory of Everything. Today I was proved wrong.

Is this a euphemism for life and childhood
A euphemism of a euphemism lmao
When you're the piano player but neither you nor the director notice that the piano part is labeled "for rehearsal only" until the day of.
My favorite song is at 2:49.
