She has such a beautiful speaking voice, too. I love when she says “Ale’s Inferno.” And the tones she gets on that bass. She’s amazing, such a great player.
If you stand in front of Ale, near the front, you'll have a hard time breathing. Her bass creates a huge wall of sound that can knock the breath out of you.
Obviously they have all grown immensely, I'm not sure if you've seen any of the early videos where the bass was bigger than Ale. There are videos of her playing Hysteria by Muse when she was 8 years old and making it look like a walk in the park. She has perfect pitch and Pau calls her a human metronome. The funny thing is that she was so tiny in the early videos and now she is the tallest. Thanks, these are great fun to watch.
When you get to see them if you are close to Ales side the bass will punch you in the gut. If you get to meet them you will find all 3 are delightfull people. Its hard to believe she has been doing this for at least 10 years. Ale has perfect pitch and Pau says Ale is a human metronome and keeps her in time.
When they started she had to change tuning almost every song. Then as she got more basses she would change them out per song for the right tuning. Now with the 5-string she’s got that low string at the ready … & damn it sounds good🤘
All three are great ladies. As Ale said, she received her first Spector Bass a few years ago (one of 2 gifted to her by a fan, Thomas). She didn’t forget that kindness, there’s some pics on-line from a few months back of Ale gifting Thomas with the very first Alejandra Villarreal Signature model Bass produced by Spector! Class act all round.
These girls are not just musicians but they are gearheads as well. Can you tell that Ale is extremely intelligent? Plays chess, has perfect pitch, graduated high school three years early and according to her sisters is a human metronome. She doesn’t talk much in public but, again according to her sisters, in private it’s hard to get her to stop talking when she gets started. (Not sure I believe that).
You need to watch some of the VLOGs with all 3 of them sitting at home talking to the camera. Ale can be a chatterbox. And you get her and Pau going and it can become total chaos.
Spector brought her this bass to the studio when they were recording their last album in 2020. Ale was only 15 years old back then. She has been a Spector Bass Featured Artist since she was about 14.
FUN FACT English is their second language.. Spanish 1st. I remember Ale at 7- 8 yrs old..her bass was bigger than her. Ale's famous for having Perfect Pitch & Timing .. Watch her play Muse's Hesteria at 8 or 9yrs old it's crazy watching her carry that Bass line the whole song.🤘🎶✌️
Hey for the record,. We would never "kill Ya" not without torturing you first . 🥰 Ale the secret weapon.. not every band has a 19yr old supermodel for a bass player.. 🤘🎶✌️
Using the 5 string also means she doesn't have to switch basses during the show for different songs. Ale has another bass since this was recorded last summer. Still a Spector 5 string, but in blue.
She is so professional at the age of 18 (here). Actually, she has been so for many years already! One could say a decade already - now, read again her age :-D
Ale's bass is a Spector USA Custom NS-5XL Ale's Inferno. Spector confirmed today in response to a question on sm that her blue bass is an NS-5 in Hyper Blue. And yes Ale has a wonderful personality as they all do and has gained a reputation over the years of being a real trooper and doing whatever the band needs. (Well except sing lead vocals willingly haha!)
RE: The LEDs. During the intro to When I'm Alone at the teatro metropolitan cdmx show, the spotlight is on Dany and the rest of the stage is dark, but off the left you can see Ale's LED lights clearly. I always get a kick out of that.
Fun fact: They started playing as a rock band because of the video game Rock Band which their parents bought them when they were very young. Two of their songs are now included in the Rock Band video game!
Ale used to do a bit of re-tuning of her 4-string bass, when they would switch to different songs. With the 5-string, she doesn't have to, apparently. That was one of the key reasons that she said that she went to the 5-string. Plus, it looks badass.
Yeah! Ale switched to 5-string because she used to use a lot of down-tunings (and not just the E string) and it was a lot of switching basses or retuning, so it all makes sense this way.
The Warning are already very experienced at stadium shows. I think Ale's bass seldom goes out of tune (I have a P-bass like that). Their current touring kit (this video predates it) has the amps and cabinets integrated into flight cases. I've mixed bands with and without amps on stage. For non-sound engineers, in the video, you can see the front fill cabinet in front of Ale's pedal board. The vocals can be driven through it to compensate for stage volume of her amp in the front rows. Everything louder than everything else - and she's plenty loud, as you will discover in Leeds. Bring your plugs.
The baby faced assassin on bass ..she is an incredible bass player …🤘
If you have $8000 burning a hole in your pocket, you can get a signature version of her bass.
That's some serious wedge 😂❤
I can't even spell 8 thousand..
And then of course wait a couple years for them to build it, because it’s somewhat unusual
Who counts? Oh right, Ale tough me how important is and it looks so good on our little time keeper!
The cognitive dissonance between "My bass would growl… grrr." and the pastel unicorn pajamas is just killing me! 😂😂😂
I blame 13 years in the Royal Marine Commandos 🤯🤣🤣 love it though 🥰
Ale the Thunder Goddess.
Ale is 18 here. She's already been playing bass for 11 years.
Madness
Worth every penny...
Watch the uber confident (and rightfully so!) 9 or 10 yo Ale play the challenging bassline to Muse's Hysteria at Liceo sometime. Amazing!

Appreciate you sharing your knowledge. React to some more The Warning from Teatro Metropolitan live

Ale will be recognized as one of rocks best bassists, so much talent and yet so humble and kind!
When they started she had to change tuning almost every song. Then as she got more basses she would change them out per song for the right tuning. Now with the 5-string she’s got that low string at the ready … & damn it sounds good🤘
Hell yeah 🤟

That's awesome
@@RealLifeCoupleReact Dany and Pau both say that Ale is also the best pianist, of the three of them.

🇲🇽 Buen reportaje de la Mexicana Ale la Diosa del trueno 🇲🇽 saludos.

She switched to a 5 because they have a few songs in drop D, and E flat standard.
thank you for this reaction and all your expertise and insights . Now I want to see Pau Gear Masters! 🤭🤟💯

Ale siempre le a dado a The Warning el equilibrio con sus tremendas lineas de bajo Ale es muy talentosa
Love it, awesome bass tones 😊

Thank you for this Chris, all makes sense 🤟👍
the blue one i think is even lighter than the ale's inferno
@@RealLifeCoupleReact There is a video of Ale playing her teacher's/mentor's 7 string bass, doing some jazz cords i believe.
@@tongpopyro2691 yep, the blue one is lighter in weight than the red one... but not by much...
She is so professional at the age of 18 (here). Actually, she has been so for many years already! One could say a decade already - now, read again her age :-D
Great part. 2! Ale es increíble. Ella y su bajo sostienen la banda.

God give me money
i want her signature bass
Locura!!!
Fynn, tambien podrías reccionar a sus videos grabados en acústico, son 4 canciones que se escuchan excelentemente. Recomendado.
Ale! 😎
Greetings from Denmark - as you continue on your journey with one of my 3 favorite bands (with Nightwish and Epica) - Subscribed. See you in Leeds...
the day when Spector gave her bass th-cam.com/video/lq6q5riGdbE/w-d-xo.html

See, I’m the exact opposite on strings, I leave them on a long as possible. I hate the sound of fresh strings.
I love the fresh sound, it just suits my rig better
