Really appreciate your narration and identifying the roads, mines and other scenic notables along the way. You're making a trip north ... north to Alaska a high rank on my list of upcoming travels.
Just watched this latest video. Very nice! I always look forward to your next episode. I was also in Valdez in 2020. The waterfalls coming into Valdez were awesome! I took a few pics of the same area in your video.
@@bradadams8540 so glad you enjoy our videos. Thanks so much for the compliment. Yes, the views were so amazing. In fact, we had a close call on this section. We were looking at one of the magnificent glaciers and almost didn’t see a Mama Moose and her baby almost run out in front of us. They stopped at the last second. That was them I was looking in my rear view mirror in the video. Of course, the helmet GoPro wasn’t recording when that happened. Going to Valdez was really out of the way for where we were heading next but we were so glad when went for those views.
Yikes! Those moose can be huge! There was a giant moose that also ran out in front of us a few miles northeast of Valdez. There was a large Welcome to Valdez sign and it came out of nowhere. We never saw any bears while in AK though.
Another great video and scenery!! Is the road all paved to and from Hatcher Pass?? Thompson Pass looked amazing and I am really curious about the Fat Mermaid and Purple cake!! We are buying our camping gear now and excited about our trip that is 7 months away...

You’re welcome. This series is about to come to an end but stay tuned as we have a final video with our tips and recommendations planned for the end.
Great adventure.
Thanks Jr Foreman

@@bradadams8540 We didn’t see any bears either in Alaska except for from the air on the Glacier Flight Tour in Seward.

The road is paved all the way to Independence Mine. To get to the very top of the pass you will need to take the dirt road.
