Anyone know if a video or link somewhere that explains the Exciter and what it is indepth?
For that matter, are there resources explaining indepth, all of the plugins? (Sculptor, Compressor, etc.)?

In fl studio does your relay go at the end of the signal chain or does neutron go at the end of the signal chain ??

Hello !! Great Video , I have a question about the processing after running the Mix balance , you stated not move the fader because the static mix as been done , but after you process the kick drum , the bass neutron added 2 db on each of the track is that normal ? or do we need to match the in and out of the plugins ?

Please please, Before/After bypassing, don't stop the music and say " here's after the bypass"! Sometimes the changes are so subtle that it is impossible to detect them. Just click bypass, and we'll hear the differences much more clearly. Thanks for the video!

Hearing those differences is much more easier than hearing the vocal track. I watched this video once and i can hear everything, and understand everything about those plugins, but after I watched this and other izotope videos couple times since released to show it to my friends and to remember some stuffs, I still don't get what the rapper said except the "like that", "What" and those weird adlibs. lol

I gotta say there is a lack of tutorials out there for your awesome products and the more videos like this will help your sales as well as unravel the mystery of properly using plug-ins like Neutron 3 while showing there pure capabilities. The best part of this video is the well-defined approach. I demoed Neutron and was a bit confused by the whole relay signal flow. This demonstration helped drastically with my understanding of how the plugins interact with each other. The music production suite requires you to approach a mix a bit differently because of the change in signal flow, but I can see how if you become familiarized you can BLAZE through mixing. It seems to me that speed is the most tangible benefit to this system.
Great Video, This format is Mega-Helpful.

I just stated using the visual mixer after years of having it. I love it so far. The only thing I have trouble with is accidentally panning while trying to mix volume. Holding shift works to keep it centered but it would be great, instead if you could also adjust volume with mouse wheel/trackpad on whatever is selected, while holding shift+mouse wheel adjusts the stereo image. Or the ability to lock panning or volume to focus on either or.

izotope should make some hardware controller/mixers that integrate with these plugins. I think that would be cool to have a bunch of faders and knobs to switch between individual relay balances or entire group balances and plugins. It would give you users something to experience hands on mixing. It's so much better than a mouse.

But after discovering Music Production Suite 4, I'm really trying to resist getting it coz I didn't plan on spending that much. @@JonMorlow I'm seeing MPS 4 on eBay for $350. (I bought my original Music Production Bundle 2 on eBay. You have to be careful not to get a ripped copy obviously, but in general they just send you a license code, same as any other retailer.) If you want everything in that bundle, seems like a pretty good price.. If you only want certain items you might be able to find something cheaper though. With the vocals, for example, would you have run them through RX10 to repair any clicks, hums or crackles and the like before working on the track in say Melodyne for pitch correction before then working on it in Nectar? Bit of a noob with this, thanks for your patience, people...😁
