Vocal Opening & Toning Practice using Shruti Box

In this video I will demonstrate a great instrument for vocal practice, toning and chanting- the SHRUTI* BOX! I will also demonstrate how to bring in RHYTHM while playing it.
It is your birthright to sing and your voice is your very own healing instrument. Please remember, this is a "practice"- there's no "wrong way" to sing - if your intention is to open your voice to bring healing sound through you.
(* "Shruti" is a Sanskrit word that refers to great wisdom teaching that are transmitted through hearing- for example: a spiritual master bestowing a wisdom teaching orally to his/her student.)

Yes it does! … I just finished my 5 week course….I will probably offer another course in the late winter/early spring… I also do one on one sessions!

great video. you chose F chord to go with your voice, but why did you open the C also.... does the c always have to be open?? thank you

The C is the 5th of an F chord and it just adds the extra harmonic of F. It’s not necessary to open it - I just like the way it sounds
