Man this video hits! I got my evo4 in 2015 for 4 grand CANADIAN...full factory Recaro confetti interior, beatrush quick shift, cusco everything, fcon standalone, one off handmade fiberglass bumper from Japan and sooooo much more. 40k+ car in today's wacky age. Really takes alot of the fun out of the hobby like you've said before lad. Another great shoot, cheers, hope all is well man!
Back when things were cheaper! Rob got so many for a steal back in the day toom the prices are insane these days its crazy, glad you got in there before it was too late

Absolutely loving the content lately it’s very inspiring to see all ye lads going out their and building yer dream cars 86 is definitely a dream of a host of cars😂
Just give me this and a Stagea and I'd be good like. Not only is an Evo wagon one of the coolest things to exist in the first place, but this has to be about the nicest one as well? Gorgeous!

If you watched MotionAuto when they converted a Lancer wagon to an Evo wagon buy swapping the body on, the stock taillights are for the narrow rear, and the Evo has the wider arches so Mitsi put those little plastic panels in
Damn shes clean mate! A real unicorn for sure, the 9 wagons are awesome, And that ralliart colt in the background, my R colt makes 450whp, did a 4G18 block and crank with the 4G15T head and stock length 4G15 rods and pistons to make a 1.6 stroker, nice little hairdryer and some 1000cc injectors, goes like the clappers!
This man got on tomei website and just clicked "YES" he needs a sticker that says "if it ain't tomei it's trash!" Wagons are so under rated but this thing is amazing! Just love it!
Ah, outstanding. Though another thing being like 'Why is so much I like a freaking unicorn?' :) Evos are something I might be more interested in if there were more wagons: see, my ex had a plain Lancer and we actually really liked it as a commuter car, and I could tell there was potential, but the fact it was a little sedan was incredibly frustrating whenever we wanted to buy something of any size or carry a bicycle. (the back seats folded down but there was only a little tiny pass-through for like skis back there: I wanted to cut out the sheetmetal back there and put in like tubular bracing or something, really. )
@@juiceboxforyou Could have helped if they'd sold more regular Lancer wagons so more people would be looking for or considering the possibiity of an Evo one. Really in the US even the plain ones were rare enough it was easy to never know they existed: the little sedans were essentially the cheapest new car to consider for those who couldn't afford a Corolla, (Consequently most of those were beaten on and got pretty ragged before their time) and I think a lot of automakers were trying to get people used to picking between four-door, SUV, and later crossover, and expect nothing else. I think they really missed the boat in the process, though, cause they were actually pretty good little cars and a wagon back makes em really practical for tons more.
These are so cool! We did get the regular Lancer wagon here in the US but wish they had given us the EVO wagon. Not that I'll ever own one anyway. Wagons are my favorite body style and we didn't get a whole lot of really cool ones here.
You always manage to make such amazing videos no matter what it's on, was great to see such a unique car. Also any idea when the website shop will be back in stock? I've been wanting to buy a sticker for a long time now :)
Always a big fan of the wagons, most cars I had where. I drove a stock 2l one of those once ( the NA non wide body with the different nose which where sold commonly here) and I was amazed at how good of a car it was. Those can still be had for next to nothing, and still has a 4g63 in it). But the best or the coolest mmm I'm not sure. I had a Skyline r31 wagon whilst travelling in Australia with a RB30 in it, pretty legendary car even in stock form. And their spiritual successor the Stagea. And then there's the JDM only STI Spec B legacy wagon, which had basically all the best bits of a WRX stuffed into on hell of a good looking legacy wagon. 280 BHP turbo 4. And then theirs the less exotic but equally cool 3.0R with the flat 6. And the Crown wagon with the 1jz, and the 2.4 Type S Accord wagon. And, and, and :P Just saying, they made some cool stuff; just all rare and expensive these days unfortunately.
For sure! Plenty of incredibly cool wagons over the years, it would be a close call between the Stagea 260RS, the Lgenum VR4 or the GC Impreza Wagon for me as out-of-the-box cars. I just love the fact this is essentially an Evo 9 with a bit stuck on the back.
We need more love for JDM wagons like the Nissan Stagea and both the Mitsubishi Evo wagon and Mitsubishi Legnum(basically the wagon version of the galant)
I actually just made a really simple and cheap programmable fan controller. I'll make a video and come post the link in the replies to this comment if I ever actually get around to it lol. It's been really accurate so far and you can set it at whatever temps you want. You get a digital gauge too.
@@juiceboxforyou 🤣🤣🤣 I know Neil it was the bargain of the century. Your car is gonna be amazing though mate. When I eventually get mine sorted out I'll bring it over to you.
Haha Rob really doesn't want to be in the video. Its rare to find rust in Evos in Australia unless they're an FQ from the UK. I own the first evo wagon in Australia and it has zero rust like my TME Evos. Its a great place to live if you love cars.
