IMHO you chose well. I have three blued versions of the Rossi R92 - three diff calibers, 3 diff barrel lengths. All are great shooters and I have had no issues with mine. Mine all have the standard loop.
I love the look with the standard loop, but my hands are just a little too big for it. The large loop is nice though. Fairly cheap on Rossi's website compared to other online sites or eBay.
Drew, Nice cowboy gun. I had to have one of these in 357 cause i have a smith revolver in 357. I started cowboy guns on my 16th birthday with a Ithaca 49r laying on the dining room table. I still have it, and shoot it, 52 years later. Once i got the Rossi, in stainless, I then had to get the Ruger Vaquero in stainless to match. These cowboy guns are something, Eh??
We got a few Rossi rifles, very excellent firearms! The newer Rossi rifles have remedied the loading gate issue complained about in many videos. Fine company ding good, nice rifle you got!

I have TWO of these. I had one Rossi and one Henry. I sold the Henry to get another Rossi.

Rossi gets a lot of flack, but a more beautiful rifle you will not find.
1873 Pietta Gunfighter 357magnum/38special convertible comes with 9mm cylinder. Closest 5o classic Ct SAA.
Hoping to get this rifle at some point this year, whether 16 in or 20 inch barrel. Thanks for sharing
