Here's easiest and fastest method: Use fine thread, fishing line, or even dental floss to loop around the tag. Snug it down tight and tie a knot in it. This will cut off blood flow to the tag causing those cells to die and dry up. The tag will then fall off on its own in 24-72 hours. I have done this several times. It's easy, free, fast, painless, clean, and the tag won't come back.
That seems like a pretty easy way to get rid of them but if you are broke or rather keep it cheap you can just use a thin thread to tie the skin tags or even a hair strand and you will get the same result. I have removed like 15 skin tags on my husband's body using both. It does hurt a bit he says when you tie them but he doesn't tolerate pain that well at all. I would say it's more like a little pinch feeling. It leaves no scars.
A cousin of mine did that and he ended up with a MRSA infection and was in the hospital for two weeks. Do not ever use a nail clipper to remove any part of your skin, even if you think you sterilized it. If you really want to cut it off, just buy a sterile medical scalpel. Don't risk infection.
Skin tags can bleed a lot or become infected, also quite painful to cut off when blood is still in them. Sometimes they are big. Take a piece of string or floss and tie tight around the bottom, leave for one day at least to cut off blood flow. In 2 days it might be able to be pinched off without pain, but if you are impatient take a sharp razor and cut at the base above the floss. A stiptic pen might be a good thing to have, and maybe a little mentholatum pain reliever. Be sure to disinfect.
alright....final say....although it did not kill off my larger skin tags (to which I seemed to waste the most stuff on) this product does turn black and dry out skin tags that do not have a thick stem and round ball like head but are more flat or small. Do I recommend this for that? yes I do....it does work....I will probably buy some more when I get enough money together. Just remember...after mixing its like a gel...so mix it well! have a friend do it for better complete coverage.
I had one under my arm...I was very annoying.....and I tried everything....but I notice that it was dying after I went swimming...So I got some sea water put it on a gauze and and if I'm lying I'm flying....it fell to the floor after 24 hours.....I told my doctor about it. He said it was most likely the sea salt....I didn't care what it was I just wanted the things off me. so may try finding some organic sea salt from your local healt food store....
I find just numbing the area with some ice and then cutting it off with scissors works just as well and much quicker. Bleeds like a SOB but still works.
@xXYukonEskimoXx you can probably do it in laser clinic, depending on the size of the tag. it's not that expensive at all for small ones. and it's safer than removing it on your own.
ok another update....after mixing the contents better...results are quicker ....I have put it on 3 really small skin tags and retreated my 3 larger ones....the three smaller tags turned black over night and I was able to clip them off painlessly but they were dried and dead. The three large ones are being treated right now. Sothis does work against the smaller tags at the least.
I have skin tags on my face, they are very very tiny and black colour( also on eye lid) . I have realised that they have appeared just recently. will this medicine work for them? I am Indian and have wheatish complexion.
I get so many of these things. Mostly small, but have had some big ones. I got one on my thigh that is bigger than the end of my pinkie finger. I'd cut it off, but am afraid it would bleed a lot.
that skin tag look king of like my...but why i cant remove my beauty marks?? :( i did like 3 or 4 times n still the same my beauty doesnt remove..sad. should i try the skin tag?
@baroque2 Yeah I heated up a nail clipper over the stove then cooled it down with rubbing alcohol then snipped my skin tag from my neck and I did NOT feel a thing. It didn't even bleed or scar. I have another won on my back now and it's bigger than my last one so I am a little worried about doing it again with the nail clippers. Good thing though is I am working out allot and have lost alot of weight. So I have not been getting any more skin tags.
update....these skin tags do not want to go easy.....they havent died yet....however some spots are crusty and others are still pink. they are quite tender but not unbearably. I will try this now on another (this time smaller) skin tag
I got one that makes me very uncomfortable, but I can still laugh at jokes about it. I know that the tags are not funny in general but you should lighten up. The video uploader even approved those jokes to be here.
your all lucky I have thousands on my neck and several under my arms and on my stomach they catch on my clothes and get ripped off....they are miserable
you can just put ducktape around them only exposing the tag, and burn it off with a match, or lighter. The reason for the duck tape is so you don't burn the skin around the tag. You can also freeze them off with a wart remover.
I seriously doubt it, see how it turned the skin red.... that stuff would get in your eye. You can't dry your inner eyelid to avoid the paste from draining into your eye.
i have a massive skin tag on my neck n i wanna remove it so bad, iv pulled it off twice n now its got bigger and plus theres a lil one right next to it :(
ok....I made a mistake....it wasnt as mixed as it probably should have been...it read to stir with the applicator for 2 minutes and I did...but the applicator isnt strong enough to mix the stuff....I thought it was stirred up enough...so will try again with a toothpick stirred mixture ^^ which gets right to the bottom
who has ever tried this does it cause pain? and does anyone else have something thats not expensive like somehing people usually have at home???? please replay ^_^

This might sound bad but I took mine off a long time ago in like 10 minutes with nail clippers. No bleeding, redness or scars.

I've read that one can apply clear nail polish to skin tags and they'll shrivel and fall off. Haven't tried it, though.
Skin tags removed in 15 minutes, More like 5 days.. lol
this took 5 DAYS NOT 15 MINUTES! I JUST TWIST AND PULL THEM OFF!
@skinS0S it sounds sore but it's not because skin tags don't have nerve endings connected to them. They are just excess skin.
Just use clear nail polish. It takes a couple of weeks of daily application but they fall off, even the big ones.

What if it is on your eye lid? I don't fancy accidentally filing down the surface of my eyeball with the emery board...
i had one above my eyebrow, and when i went to get my eyebrows threaded.. the lady took it off.. no pain, and never grew back!

tie a hair around it . . . after a few days it will fall out trust me it works . .painfree

I think maybe you'll have to see a dermatologist for that to be on the safe side.
This vid is a smooth gateway into the weird part of TH-cam =\

thank you for the honest review :)
it takes 5 days with this treatment and only .5 seconds with scissors which 1 should i choose to get rid of it quickly
I have one below my eye brow close to my eye lid where the skin is very thin and delicate. Any additional advice for this particular external area?
my mum has a skin tag around her eye and one on her eyelid, she really dislikes it so im wondering if the product would be safe to use around her eye?
I just use nail clippers
oh that's what those things are called... I've only had em twice, I just cut them off at the base with a sharp blade... Band-Aid and done!
I had one near my armpit and I literally just pulled it off. It hurt a little bit, but it didn't leave a scar.
is this safe to be used near eyes
i think a medical centre would be the best option.. that just looks like a drawn out process..
So it's like an umbilical cord dry it out with the product and it falls off
I've used alcohol and nail clippers. Quick, little pain and NO scar.
@hylonlad Thanks for the great feedback - glad you were happy with the results :)
What if they're the size of blueberries, and all clustered under your armpits?
does this work on freckles?
that skin tag look king of like my...but why i cant remove my beauty marks?? :(
i did like 3 or 4 times n still the same my beauty doesnt remove..sad. should i try the skin tag?
Weird side of youtube again...
Skin tag removal in 15 minutes? The video actually said the skin tag falls off after 5 days. The title is misleading.
Twist it, and tape it down while it is twisted and in a week it will fall off...no pain!
@skinS0S Will this work for removing flattish (not too flat ) beauty mark about the same size?
I have one on my eye lid but it looks like an eye booger thing... its so embarrassing!D:
@baroque2 Yeah I heated up a nail clipper over the stove then cooled it down with rubbing alcohol then snipped my skin tag from my neck and I did NOT feel a thing. It didn't even bleed or scar. cool.. where do i get a kit? walmart??
does it hurt as my skin is really really sensitive
does it only work on skin tags?
update....these skin tags do not want to go easy.....they havent died yet....however some spots are crusty and others are still pink. they are quite tender but not unbearably. I will try this now on another (this time smaller) skin tag
I have a small skin tag right by the outer corner of my eye. Is this safe to use in that area?
DOES IT HURT?
@ThePrufessa The Skin Tag Removal Kit can be used on skin tags anywhere as long as they are external.
take a pair of nail clippers to it.. that'll fix it
where to get this product?
yes they can. Hers is a pretty chunky one :P
I got one that makes me very uncomfortable, but I can still laugh at jokes about it. I know that the tags are not funny in general but you should lighten up.
The video uploader even approved those jokes to be here.
does it grow back or does it disappear?
If it's that small yes, it will.
great information. Thank you
What if you have these dark brown/blackish skin tags?
lol i had one under my armpit and i guess while i was shaving i cut it off w/o noticing :O didn't hurt, was wondering where it went XD
will this work for moles?
wow excellent video i have seen.
Actually, all you need is a long piece of hair. Just tie a knot around its base. It'll fall off overnight.
How much is this?
will having to go to the bathroom have a direct negative effect on the removal/healing?
Sliced mine off with a razor blade. It was a little painful and bloody, but it did the trick.
How Did I Get Here...
your all lucky I have thousands on my neck and several under my arms and on my stomach they catch on my clothes and get ripped off....they are miserable
does it hurts?
you can just put ducktape around them only exposing the tag, and burn it off with a match, or lighter. The reason for the duck tape is so you don't burn the skin around the tag. You can also freeze them off with a wart remover.
Sometimes I wonder what I do with my life
I don't know how I got here either, how did you get onto celebs without makeup...?
I seriously doubt it, see how it turned the skin red.... that stuff would get in your eye. You can't dry your inner eyelid to avoid the paste from draining into your eye.
why on earth did this one turned up when I was searching for bridal nail art ideas??
just pull em off! I'm with you!
ok so it says 15 minutes but then it says you wait a couple days? LIES! lol
is it normal at 2:43 for those small blisters to be on her skin, looks like its burning her skin...ugh
All these peoples comments are making me bust up!
what causes skintags in the 1st place
hey this is good info. skin tags are a drag...
i kept picking at my skin tag and it fell off is that normal????
what if is deep in the surface can it still be remove
omg , dosnt it hurt ? :o
doesnt it hurt filing that???
When I get these I just tie thread around it and it just dies and falls off within a few days.
How come it got black and grow bigger?
can u use that on moles ?
skin tags. way to go!!
how about ones that seem to be ingrown??
i have a massive skin tag on my neck n i wanna remove it so bad, iv pulled it off twice n now its got bigger and plus theres a lil one right next to it :(
It's a mole? i have two on my neck and my stomach and its a mole...
I take a sharp pair of fingernail clippers and just cut it off, quick and easy, but bleeds for a bit.
i prefer doing it with a nail clipper
This is so awesome.
I have one on my neck, been there since birth. home remedy anyone?? thanks :)
ok....I made a mistake....it wasnt as mixed as it probably should have been...it read to stir with the applicator for 2 minutes and I did...but the applicator isnt strong enough to mix the stuff....I thought it was stirred up enough...so will try again with a toothpick stirred mixture ^^ which gets right to the bottom
Wouldn't it be easier to just bite it off?
I love skin tags...they make good flavor for soups and salads.
LoL i bursted out laughing
yess .. that was very satisfying
who has ever tried this does it cause pain? and does anyone else have something thats not expensive like somehing people usually have at home???? please replay ^_^
