For me, The Version is the Oistrakh one, but Repim does a beautiful job here. Maybe I love so much this concerto that I enjoy it everytime no matter who is playing it.

.. anyone who has played a few seasons of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet with a ballet company will hear some very familiar leitmotif workings and orchestration in this beautiful concerto.....in many aspects it is pure ballet

Emilien, I am not able to spot those not so perfect spots from a technical point of view. Repim vibrato seems too wide for me sometimes in the highs but that could be perfectly his choice, not a technical issue. Could you please point out what you mention?

I totally agree with you crazyelliexxx23, its not as good as that... Jansen do a lot better in terms of energy, and its even more technically dirty than her, and not because of the adopted sound : its out of tune and not well-worked etc... He just didnt worked enough on it. (Jansen performance is not perfect either, she has the "krack" Prokofiev in mind when she plays it, but I have to say I love it).
