Really sad and a pity to see how often the WWE has failed to create the stars of the future from real talent. There was really good potential in the squad, but unfortunately selfishness, politics and short-term economic interests led to the wrong decisions. The bigger problem is that those responsible still don't want to see that and probably still think they did everything right. WWE has gotten so boring and predictable these days. It's just not fun anymore.
Been like that since the Hulk Hogan days. With the exception of the New Generation (Shawn and Bret) and the Attitude Eras (Austin, Rock, Triple H and Foley)

The idea was clearly meant to be attention grabbing but I've heard people call it a racist moment. From a business standpoint though it works......on paper. Just have Brock challenge Kofi then beat him up badly in seconds. This would still bring attention but also set up the next PPV. Then allow Kofi to at least get a 2 count like they did with Brian to give the fans hope or maybe a TiP and Brock barely rolls back inside if you wanna keep him looking strong without a close pin.
The shittiest thing IMO about Cena/Wyatt from WM30 is that... Wyatt didn't even have to win the match. They could have had Cena give in and hit him with the chair and win the match, but Wyatt would have won the war so to speak. And they could have played off of that for months with both of them. Instead they decided to be boring
Yes. Would Bray winning have been great? Yes. But the whole point of their feud was Bray trying to prove to Cena that even he isn’t infallible, and even if Bray had lost, if Cena had given in to the dark and used the chair, it still would’ve been a win to Bray, cause he got Cena to break.
@@Mr.2Dirty I do know Cena said that's the ending he wanted , then have Bray go over at the next ppv where Cena would slowly go down the abyss but he wouldn't go heel I'm not gonna defend Vince's booking here, there's kids who love anti heros Mcu had T'Challa as an anti hero in civil war and kids beloved him that could of been the angle they went with Cena
And it’s crazy that Brock can put on a good match with people like Kofi and Ricochet size. Those Survivor Series matches with Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles was great
I remember watching Team WWE vs Team Nexus live, I was 10 years old and SO HAPPY that Cena won after so much struggle. Although the outcome was damaging for new stars, for the target audience this much was booked perfectly
The target audience at the moment, but what comes next? Guys like Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel who could've been certified superstars who would carry the company into the future had been buried. John Cena was already a superstar and he could take a loss and nothing would happen, The Nexus needed to win in order to be the villains that they were meant to be.
For the record, I think if there was a #11 on this list, we would've had a THIRD Bray Wyatt loss. Losing the title to Orton at 'Mania 1 month after winning it.
NXT rant in 3, 2, 1... I think WWE kinda dodged a bullet with beating Ryback. I mean he is a clown. Was the loss to Cena really that harmful to Brock, though? SummerSlam 2014. It was originally supposed to be Brock vs Bryan, but Bryan's neck injuries put Bryan on the self.
Ya I don’t really see how that loss could’ve hurt Brock tbh ,might be biased but they still made Brock look incredible strong by beating Cena’s ass and had some sort of disease, I forget what it was but Ik lesnar said it felt like he got shot by a shot gun. Plus it wouldn’t really make too much for ur top guy to lose 2 straight PPV’s to guys who hadn’t been there in years while he was carrying em
@@joetheman8550 Yeah, I'm almost scared that Bryan would have gotten a fast squash like Kofi did. I'm still surprised Cena got as thoroughly squashed like he did in that match.
I knew Kofi was going to be #1. I stopped watching WWE ever since that match. It single-handedly proved to me there was no point in getting invested in anything WWE puts out anymore.
And what made little to no sense about how kofi's WWE Title reign ended was throughout the rest of his Reign he was so smart and defeating the rest of his Challengers but then as soon as he has to defend against Brock it's like all those smarts that he use in all those other defenses just suddenly went flying out the window so he could go running straight into an F5 followed by a pinfall.

@@jayjay2074 no kofi deserved to actually have an actual match with Brock and put up a good fight and Brock wins in the end since they were going that route anyway kinda how Daniel Bryan versus Brock went at Survivor Series
The one with Goldberg vs. The Fiend still hurts. The Fiend is supposed to be this indestructible monster that cannot be beaten easily yet way-past-his-prime 50+ years old Goldberg is able to beat him with one finisher. It's pathetic how poorly the WWE treated The Fiend.
Kofi was the guy that got me interested in wrestling, back when he was IC champ in 2010. When he won the WWE title, I absolutely lost my mind. When he was squashed by Lesnar, that was the closest I have ever come to not watching WWE anymore.
Bray Wyatt winning at WrestleMania 30 would have changed everything, Bray Wyatt could have begun his own undefeated streak at WM especially if he beat The Undertaker at WM31 after theoretically beating John Cena, but John Cena politicked backstage and we're are looking at a wrestling world without one of the most Multi-Over guys in wrestling history.
Bray if he would be able to get booked better, I think him returning to wwe would work. Considering AEW has proven they can’t book those supernatural characters like Malakai Black. And they consider themselves a more pro wrestling based company. Also they have a lot of people 😂
Bray Wyatt/The Fiend doesn't need titles he's over without them , he's the attraction, he's one of the few talents that can do that It would actually limit him to put any belt on him
Wow, I think I actually quit watching wrestling in general after Kofi got squashed. And I barely remembered it happening. That's how much I wanted to remove that memory from my brain just so I can have inner peace after I gave up on WWE. Wow the memories
Gonna be honest because I respect you and the channel you're growing. I didn't watch but I saw the title and wanted to comment. IF you're good enough, 1 loss won't bury you. (or a name change) Look at jeff v taker. And I'm getting tired of booking being the scapegoat. We all know booking sucks BUT, like Austin has said "It's up to us to turn chickensh+t into chicken salad". I feel some talent use the wwe machine as an excuse to hide the fact that yeah maybe they can go in the ring, but that's it and that's not a complete wrestler. To me, wwe has ALOT of problems and I'm not an AEW hater by no means, but you can't call yourself the great UNLESS you've succeeded in some form in the wwe . But just my opinion...BRING ON THE HATE.😂
But how can you turn shit into salad when you can’t even use your talents to get over? Vince had final final say over the moves of the present day wrestlers. Back then I think guys had some leeway to turn things around without being heavily scripted
And it’s not the “one loss” that buried you, it’s what happens to you after that one loss. For some reason, creative has no plans for wrestlers after losing to Cena. They get lost in the shuffle, barely make TV appearances, and end up just sitting in catering for weeks on end
I can see what your saying. I just think if you are that over the booking wouldn't be as bad. Now again I'm not defending because they've dropped the ball so many times and it is easy to blame booking. ie fiend v rollins/Orton. My point is it's not always on the machine. Case and point. Cesaro. Talented beyond all belief, speaks 6 languages, strong as hell, put him with Heyman and he still was unable to get over with the masses. why? no clue. but they did everything to push him. I hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Again just my opinion and I appreciate the debate and not hate ✌️
@@Leftfield310 no hate bro, I actually agree with you as well. Some dudes don’t have that special charisma outside of their ring work and that is a huge hinderance with connecting with the casual audience. And I see how that affects the way creative knows how to book, but I just wish they understand this and uses the wrestler’s strengths to hide the flaws until they improve.
@@DankMemeCenterX Rey could have had an underdog role between John Cena and The Summer Of Punk in a Triple Threat Match . He was just as much over with the WWE Universe close to the likes of Cena and Jeff Hardy in which Rey is a 90 overall on 2k22. Hard fought victory vs The Miz. Kudos to Fred's Dad for putting him over even more. Looking forward to another match in the future after Cena signed Balor's contract to face the Tribal Chief at 2021 Summerslam. They don't know how to book babyfaces but they go all out for their heels smh. Now when I see someone turn heel i just automatically hate it no matter how entertaining they are or who it is and I find them annoying and not in the way a heel is suppose to be, it's the booking for me not the superstar.
THANK YOU thats the irkin part i feel like its some clause in the contracts thats different for when a wrestler is face and heel like a face has limit ability than a heel such as not able to have long title reigns, not really able to embrace their culture unless you're Caucasian whether its global/social culture, or revenge/receipt from bein done wrong is a heel turn
Idk if this is a hot take but I never cared for bayley as a babyface (on the main roster I didn’t watch nxt when she was there) I just couldn’t take her seriously
Ross can you react to “How Cody Rhodes should win the WWE Championship” by MurfsYT13. It was made before wrestlemania backlash happened but I still highly recommend it. He does a great job at booking it and he uses the game WWE 2K22 to match with how he’s booking it.
I stopped watching in 2008 people already were turning on Cena then but it wasn’t that bad yet I understand why now lmaooo but I always said it wasn’t his fault he was the only legit megastar in the company after all the ruthless aggression stars left or retired 🤷🏽♂️ that’s WWE fault for not building up stars just like now people will get mad at Roman for being pushed hard but what is the alternative?? It’s only a few viable wrestlers who can carry the company
I also wanna say Demon King Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. Not sure what PPV it was but that match really destroyed his demon king gimmick. i don't think Balor has ever recovered from that
I just started watching wrestling after 3-4 years a couple of months ago and there were many reasons why I stopped watching. WWE doesn’t make sense most of the time, the way they treat the tag teams (especially champions) is a fucking joke. Like even right now you have the longest reigning unified tag champs of all time and whenever a babyface goes against Roman they are always demolished by the good guys. It just makes the whole tag team devision look like a joke. The way they get tag team or factions and as soon as they start to get some momentum, they split them. Then when a “mid-carder” gets over with the fans, they go out of their way to bury them. Then the whole NXT wrestlers coming of to the main show and they don’t know how to book them and immediately try to turn them from “wrestlers to superstars” and then not use them at all is all a fucking disgrace. Bray was so fucking good, in the ring, on the mic, character wise, everything, but Vince is Vince. Then whole storyline of the Authority burying talent that led to Survivor Series and Sting coming in to save the day, Ziggler overcame the odds and got the win so everybody was hoping for him to finally get that major push, but that didn’t happen ofc and the other guy, the legendary Sting instead beating HHH to then go and have other dream matches like one with the Undertaker, he fucking lost because he was a WCW guy! Sheamus, Rusev, Barret, Del Rio created the League of Nations, all big tough guys, two of them former world champions and they got beaten by Roman Reings in a 4vs1 handicap match because that’s how WWE thought that Roman would get over ffs and I’m the biggest Roman fan, but what they did to my man back then was unforgivable. I know that they wanna portray someone as a monster, but there are other ways than for that one guy to demolish multiple world champs or tag teams or shit like that. Now they having Lashley have 2v1 handicap matches all the time and it doesn’t even feel special because those matches should be the face to overcome the final roadblock, not just do it every 3-4 weeks ffs!
5. honestly, even Bray winning through disqualification would have altered his career thoroughly. When he hands cena the chair to strike him down, imagine cena goes through with it. Referee sees it bam DQ. Bray won both technically and in the way he arguably wanted to. Cena leaves the match changed, and Wyatt family now is seen as extremely dangerous from a psychological perspective.
now imagine him later winning money in the bank. whenever the champion has a match Bray Wyatt strolls in onto his rocking chair holdin the briefcase. Just watching, waiting. Imagine how unnerving that would be.
Askua losing to Charlotte at Wrestlemania after not fucking losing once in NXT nearly killed Asuka entire career and lost all momentum she built up in 1 match. That not being in this Top 10 shows us how disrespected Asuka as a talent is. Awful booking in every imaginable way to this day.
Oh everyone in this video who lost when they weren't supposed to is just tragic Rip Sandow, Bray(Fiend), Booker T, Ricochet, Nexus, Ryback, Bayley, Kofi Kingston
Dude during The PG Era there Babyface Was Ryback because the perfect time to make Ryback your guy It was Hell in a Cell Vs CM Punk with Brad Maddox but WWE didn’t want to give Ryback the title and that’s a example of At that time And Now WWE don’t listen to us

But Bray just loses.... clean.... and they move one smh
Bruh what could wwe do with the nexus there’s only so much u can do with that large group also only Barrett was good on the mic… Barrett was the only one who was gettin over
Before that nexus vs team wwe match at summerslam I believe they tried to get the finish changed earlier in the day so team nexus would win but it was denied.
Kofi got treated like he was being punished, or he had a serious injury so "lets make the match quick" after ALL OF KOFI MANI, lets kill him in 10 seconds. really shows the lack of creativity WWE has. Brock doesn't need to be pushed or get over, thats been happening his whole career. If I was Kofi I would have instantly got up after the F5 and walked out of that building and quit
Ryback shouldn’t have won that match , the match that hurt his career for good imo was his 2013 feud with Cena. That ambulance match (heel Ryback before he joined Heyman was great .) was brutal , and Cena should have laid down for the big guy just this once. But yeah , no losses in wrestling history was more a spit to the face of fans than the 7 seconds loss of Koffi. I was enraged (nearly broke my computer watching it) , thankfully Lashley rectified that mistake for us black folks but still. If I was Koffi I would have slide McMmahon right after the match backstage
Another recent one that I can think of is Jeff Hardy pinning Karrion Kross in his raw debut by a roll-up while he was still the nxt champion and was undefeated. Not only did that make Kross look inferior to everyone on the main roster, but it was a slap in the face to the whole nxt brand. You have this guy who is decimating every single wrestler in Nxt and is unstoppable only to lose in a few minutes to Jeff hardy (who is still a legend but wasn’t even doing much at the time). It derailed Kross’ credibility and momentum. made nxt look weak, made all of the main event stars in nxt look weak, and it also took away from Samoa Joe’s eventual win over Kross. Imagine how much better it would have been for Joe to be the one who finally ends Kross’ undefeated streak???
It's a shame that the nexus was screwed that day. No one likes this match, cena has gone on record that this was a mistake. This absolutly helped no one.
To be honest ricochet should be a mid carder because he really has no personality and his promos are awful but the only thing going for him is that he’s good in the ring and that’s all he has…
John Cena should be given more respect, putting his name on this list was the most ridiculous thing I saw, unfortunately he is not respected as much as he deserves.

What’s good Ross? Hope you’re having a blessed week man. 🙌🏽
ACKNOWLEDGE HIM! FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS
Ross's reaction to #7 had me dying 💀 😆
The elimination chamber match where Goldberg was dominant only to lose to hhh by a sledgehammer
And it’s crazy that Brock can put on a good match with people like Kofi and Ricochet size. Those Survivor Series matches with Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles was great
The way Brock Lesnar beat Ricochet. I remember saying to myself, that match will be Ricochet downfall.
The Fiend vs Goldberg
I remember watching Team WWE vs Team Nexus live, I was 10 years old and SO HAPPY that Cena won after so much struggle. Although the outcome was damaging for new stars, for the target audience this much was booked perfectly
it wasn‘t
The target audience at the moment, but what comes next? Guys like Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel who could've been certified superstars who would carry the company into the future had been buried. John Cena was already a superstar and he could take a loss and nothing would happen, The Nexus needed to win in order to be the villains that they were meant to be.
I remember watching that and saying I’m done with this and just started back around 2020
When I saw Kofi lost live, the first thing my little brother does is laugh at Kofi.
Man the Kofi and booker t moments still piss me off! Wwe did their black stars dirty man!
honorable or dishonorable mentions: Cena vs Rusev (Wrestlemania 31) and Sting vs Triple H (Wrestlemania 31)
For the record, I think if there was a #11 on this list, we would've had a THIRD Bray Wyatt loss. Losing the title to Orton at 'Mania 1 month after winning it.
Bray should of ended Undertaker's streak in my opinion
I always click for reactions to the Wrestletalk/PartsFunKnown family. The vids are always top-notch.
The depression in Ross’s face as they spoke on Kofi 😂.
Love this recap
@@jacobtarter2237 The disease was diverticulitus and he mostly went through bouts of it in UFC. I can't recall him having it during his stints in WWE.
I feel like Bryan would have gotten a worse beating than Cena at SummerSlam 2014 if he didn't vacate the titles
@@joetheman8550 definitely, but I feel like he also woulda put up more of a fight too tbh. And it would fit who he was at the time tbh
@@joetheman8550 Yeah, I'm almost scared that Bryan would have gotten a fast squash like Kofi did. I'm still surprised Cena got as thoroughly squashed like he did in that match.
Charlotte beating Asuka at WM should get an honorable mention
You should check out how Adam would book NXT 2.0 it’s really great
I knew Kofi was going to be #1.
I’m glad they never pulled the trigger on ryback
Lol.....Ross face at 6:56 when the announcer mentioned Oldberg beating The Fiend for the universal championship is EXACTLY how I felt when Bray Wyatt loss🤬
That match just burns my skin thinking about it...smfh WWE...😬😤 Why Y'all booked Goldberg to win I'll never know 😒🖕🏾
“Kofi kingston went back to feuding in the midcard…. & throwin pancakes” 😂😭
Zach Ryder vs The Miz after Wrestlemania
First ! Love the vids Ross
That Kofi one STILL pisses me off
Cena v Wade Barrett when he literally buried him in a pile of chairs at the closing of a TLC ppv 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Looking back on the Kofi situation, I don’t remember if he even got a rematch for the title.
No he didn't
Mid card Kofi went straight back into the tag team title card which is worse coming from a single title run. Jesus Christ 🤦♂️
WWE's decisions for most cases in the past few years have been so painful to watch
This was a good list of those that got buried but i gotta say to me cody and edge was the 2 baby faces that was booked great.
In case u didn't know, Cena apologized about burying the Nexus
Almost 3 years later and I'm still pissed at how Kofi lost
Honorable mentions:
Charlotte beating Asuka at Mania 34
Charlotte beating Rhea and Nikki at Summerslam 2021
Carmella beating Asuka on 2 straight PPVs in 2018
Sting vs HHH at Mania 31
This video is the main reason I cant put cena on stone colds level because there's no way he didn't know that him winning a certain match would kill someone else's momentum and it's also why I think ppl should put jericho on a higher level he knows wrestling perfectly
Top guy chose to get squashed for the love of the business no other top guy would ever do that to themselves
@@JohnSmith-wh2ob it's the least he could do after wrongly winning at extreme rules and won clean also plus brock got squashed by goldberg even harder because the match was shorter than undertakers entrance so there's another top guy getting squashed
@@jayjay2074 I’d rather get squashed in 2 minutes then 16 minutes 2 minutes is nothing 16 minutes is long and drawn out also wrongly winning at extreme rules I’ll agree I didn’t like cena winning that match either but Brock looked dominate as hell in that match
@@JohnSmith-wh2ob so going by ur logic youd rather the kofi match be how it was or for it to be a bit longer making Kofi actually survive a while
@@jayjay2074 no kofi deserved to actually have an actual match with Brock and put up a good fight and Brock wins in the end since they were going that route anyway kinda how Daniel Bryan versus Brock went at Survivor Series
When triple h told booger t entertain me I feel that’s riccochet never saw him as a main event guy
Wwe has made it clear since Zack Ryder, they don’t seem to like it when their wrestlers get over on their own.
Kofi was the guy that got me interested in wrestling, back when he was IC champ in 2010. When he won the WWE title, I absolutely lost my mind. When he was squashed by Lesnar, that was the closest I have ever come to not watching WWE anymore.
Yup my favorite wrestler ever dude got me into wrestling. Idk wtf I'ma do when he retires man.
Anybody know whats up with Trill? Is he gone again from ITC
Samoa Joe losing in the title matches is absurd
I saw the Nexus and I clicked
Nexus overrated… only so much u can do with a big group that wasn’t gettin over Besides Barrett… he was the only one good on the mic
Also they have a lot of people 😂
What about the Japanese companies
Bray Wyatt/The Fiend doesn't need titles he's over without them , he's the attraction, he's one of the few talents that can do that
It would actually limit him to put any belt on him
@@CharlesChristinaWH I completely agree
Ross: did your mind change on Bray coming back now that Vince is no longer in control of creative?
Rey Mysterio deserved a longer WWE Title Run back in 2011
Idk his 2006 world title run outside of the moment of winning was a diaster so having Cena wins lol was for the better.
@@DankMemeCenterX Rey could have had an underdog role between John Cena and The Summer Of Punk in a Triple Threat Match . As a John Cena Fan, I see why WWE choose to have Never Give Up Fred's Dad win. At the same time though, Rey Mysterio was more mature in his promos in-ring work ethic than he was in his 2006 World Heavyweight Championship Run . He was just as much over with the WWE Universe close to the likes of Cena and Jeff Hardy in which Rey is a 90 overall on 2k22. Hard fought victory vs The Miz. Rey could have held the main title for more than just one day. He could have even turned heel like the WWE SVR 2011 and WWE 12 Video Game too.
Rey's 3 world title weren't good. Started out great, but man was he fed shit, especially during his first world title run and the WWE championship one. It's like Vince doesn't want small guys to represent the company
@@joetheman8550 Kalisto was the first to score a win over Braun Strowman in WWE. Heck, Vince didn't believe Finn Balor after after being the 1st Universal Champion had a chance of defeating John Cena, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns for a chance to face Brock Leasnar back in 2019. Kudos to Fred's Dad for putting him over even more. Looking forward to another match in the future after Cena signed Balor's contract to face the Tribal Chief at 2021 Summerslam. WWE owes it to Rey Mysterio to make sure Dominik is booked great and fairly throughout his career in the future. R.I.P Eddie Guerro.
I was a kid when the Nexus got squashed so i didn’t care. I thought they were cool for the first night and then didn’t give a damn about them for the rest of the time. Guess my kid brain said”who are these jobbers?”
Then
Now
Forever
Together
They don't know how to book babyfaces but they go all out for their heels smh. Now when I see someone turn heel i just automatically hate it no matter how entertaining they are or who it is and I find them annoying and not in the way a heel is suppose to be, it's the booking for me not the superstar.
THANK YOU
thats the irkin part
i feel like its some clause in the contracts thats different for when a wrestler is face and heel
like a face has limit ability than a heel
such as not able to have long title reigns, not really able to embrace their culture unless you're Caucasian whether its global/social culture, or revenge/receipt from bein done wrong is a heel turn
Not sure what PPV it was but that match really destroyed his demon king gimmick. i don't think Balor has ever recovered from that
Extreme Rules 2021
Shocked HHH beating Punk in 2011 wasn't on here
Y’all realize that Vince planned all this not John Cena he has no control
Asuka lost her undefeated streak to charlotte flair must be on here
Sad part is Big E’s reign was a rendition of Brock and Kofi too
I honestly thought Charlotte v Asuka was gonna be on the list
Braun Stroman v Lesnar when the title was vacant should be on here.
#1 was the main reason why I stopped watching WWE, then AEW came along that year and since then I enjoy their product!
5. honestly, even Bray winning through disqualification would have altered his career thoroughly.
Even though it was a DQ (somehow). Rollins vs Fiend in the cell should be up here. It felt like a damn loss for both of them
Askua losing to Charlotte at Wrestlemania after not fucking losing once in NXT nearly killed Asuka entire career and lost all momentum she built up in 1 match.
Congratulations to John cena 20 years
Bray deserved better
Don't forget Daniel Bryan was book well until his injury post Mania 30
#RoadTo90K 🤟🏽
Dude during The PG Era there Babyface Was Ryback because the perfect time to make Ryback your guy It was Hell in a Cell Vs CM Punk with Brad Maddox but WWE didn’t want to give Ryback the title and that’s a example of At that time And Now WWE don’t listen to us
Good ole Vince. SQUASHING his future just because he enjoys it I guess 🤷🏿♂️smh. He does this AAAAAAALLLLL the time. Ross I felt your pain when that Goldberg vs Feind came up brah lol. Not only did he lose it was the WAY he lost too! He ate one spear and was DONE... then he was crying like a little punk afterwards... I'm like what the heck??? That's not the Feind????? They took him from Horror, unkillable monster to.... a 5 year old in one night smh. FAIL FAIL FAIL. Brah I swear they hate Bray... there's a way you can book wrestlers strong even on a loss. But Bray just loses.... clean.... and they move one smh
Bruh what could wwe do with the nexus there’s only so much u can do with that large group also only Barrett was good on the mic… Barrett was the only one who was gettin over
Kofi getting killed and them booking him acting like nothing happened infuriated me. They did the same thing with Big E
I'm surprised the fans didn't riot with that HIAC between Bray and Seth Rollins. Then ending that match the way they did was asinine.
Before that nexus vs team wwe match at summerslam I believe they tried to get the finish changed earlier in the day so team nexus would win but it was denied.
That was the thing. Nexus were going to go over but management changed the finish, so kids could go home happy
I thought it was gonna be becky over Bianca

Bayley was a layup as a babyface. Not even close to my favorite but she was so loved in NXT. She could have been their new John Cena
Is one of the issues with Wyatt that the WWE creative doesn’t want to push any gimmicks that have a pseudo-supernatural angle to avoid comparisons to the Attitude era and risk bible belt ratings?
The Nexus really could have been something...
