interesteing video. I'm working on a motherboard (P4 800M I think (its at work and I'm at home right now)) that would start up for a short period of time but would fail after 2-3 minutes. It had several poorly replaced caps so I replaced them again but it would still go dark.
This board is part of a computer that uses security schemes to marry hardware to each other to thwart bootlegging and copying of the software. If I cant fix this board this device is toast. :(
Thank you for the pointers. I know for sure that at lost one, if not all, of the FET supported voltages are missing from the CPU.

I have a problem with this integrated, the board is la-7912p, it happens that when turning on the board it stays on at 0.620 A, I don't know, it turns off and the fan regulates depending on the temperature, obviously it never gives an image, Vcore appears at 1.050 volts but Vgfx never appears(It goes without saying that if these voltages are present, all the rest of the sources and secondary voltages are also present, in fact I already measured them many times, only Vgfx is not present). There is no short circuit, I changed the processor and the same thing, the Vgfx mosfets are fine. I don't know why it doesn't turn on and I don't think it's the 95836 integrated circuit's fault. Any ideas? Replace the integrated maybe? Pch? Bios?

Sudheer M.S transformers are for purifying little version of the DC current it's outputting pure DC . resistors for controlling the current flow. And the small IC chips are for enable voltage and etc

Hi, I have a HP laptop. Battery is dead(Battery # 807611-421). The battery has only 3 cells, which gives 10.95V. I found in Ebay a battery with the same number but has 4 cells (14.8V). My question is will this battery damage the motherboard? The voltage (either 10 or 14) will be converted into 3.3V & 5V so will this 14V harm the logic board? Thank You
