@@kristenandscottso you were down here! I heard about the auction the next day at church because we had visitors who had gone to it. Would love to meet up if you come again. I live an hour out of Sarasota

I have seen other videos on Pinecraft, where Amish folks told the interviewer that they do things in Pinecraft (like riding motorized golf carts) they they would not be comfortable doing in Lancaster County!
PS. Maybe it's just naivete on my part, but there in something so compelling about the natural beauty and personalities of young Mennonite women.

I think for me I interpret that as purity and optimism. And perhaps not being as obsessed with all the materialism of the English world.

minute 2:50, gentle correction. This is a John Holdeman but not the John Holdeman who separated from the Old Mennonite Church to found the Church of God in Christ Mennonite. John Holdeman founder was born in 1832 and died in 1900, Although, its probably fair to say any given man would have looked similar in Ohio to Kansas in this period. Similar clothing or hair cut.

Yeah, another viewer pointed this out. Thanks for catching that as well. Someone else said that there are no pictures of the original John Holdeman. Although, as you pointed out, he probably would have been similar in dress and look.

2:47 That is NOT the correct John Holdeman. There is no known photograph of John Holdeman (1832 - 1900).

Hmmm it was on a page when I was doing some research. I aumme the page discussing the Holdeman Mennonites was correct. I did not know this. Thanks for pointing it out! It is definitely a sect of the Mennonites I am still learning about!

So sad to watch cults join forces may God help everyone come out of their sects and embrace Jesus

I may not agree with all their practices but these people seem to really have a heart for God and a passion to help the people of haiti.

@@kristenandscott I'm also sure RC's have done many wonderful works and have done things that would apparently show the appearance that they have a heart for God and a passion to help. In fact they are famous for the many ways they have contributed to help the least fortunate. Yet they do not have the truth of the Bible neither the correct plan of salvation. What good is all the nice things they do when in the end they do not follow scripture. There are many testimonies of people who have come out of these groups and have testified that although many of them are nice and decent but in the end their beliefs do not match a lot of what God intended in his Word.
