Good! But it is necessary to close the box, then the bass will sound good. Today I made a speaker, too.

Very impressive the way he did this. There is a lot of mechanical distortion which is to be expected. The centre where the magnets are is rubbing against the magnet surface. The surfaces are crude and not properly tuned. What is impressive is how loud it works, and it does function as a speaker of sorts.

i love how there's a ONE GLUE FITS ALL rule in this alternate reality.
if you've ever had a sculpture class, or if you've ever used "GLUE' you know that different materials require different adhering compounds - usually you can differentiate between POROUS or NONPOROUS which will determine wether white glue or a cement should be used. even then, glueing something like styrofoam to anything, including itself, is just not gonna happen.

I just build it too and it works really reaally incredibly wel! I was quite surprised when I heard the acual quality of my "Made out of an old doorbell and 3 old springs with a cd in 5 minutes" speaker. I will build another one tormorrow and put ALOT more time into it and more wire for sure.
Also for some reason the first one I build now totally blacks out if it has to play bass. Im guessing the coil I did is too weak for the stronger bass than the lighter - less power - mid and hights?

Yes you are correct. Basically a very small "woofer" or mid range driver with a whizzer cone to try to help augment the higher frequencies.
Though I think it may be a little over optimistic to refer to it as a "full range" transducer. ;-)
