Ms. Thomson has to be a Finalist for Best Interviewee, Female, 2024, so articulate and smartly thoughtful in her answers. I loved it when she said, "I don't want to hear Dylan sing Christmas carols." The question about him as "Messiah" was inspired.
Although this is not something I'm interested in, I know time shall be well spent learning from Harvey's work. Nice threads Harvey! I also like your suits. You'll know what works best with your public. ....Very difficult to pare down all those interviews to created a gripping book. Congratulations to Elizabeth.
Yup. The world goes round and round, and nothing stays the same. And yet…. the really important aspects at the core of what it means to be alive don’t ever seem to change.
@@MsBackstager On the contrary, Bob Dylan had THE PERFECT voice for HIS songs. Anyone who knows and appreciates Dylan knows that. Only Dylan knew how to deliver his songs with the uniqueness that was always his own. No one else could deliver Dylan’s songs as well as he could. If you want a crooner, they are a dime a dozen.
Harvey, you are the best kept secret on you tube. 27,500 subscribers? Ridiculous! You have an incredible array of guests. You should have 2.7 million subscribers.
Thank you for saying that. I hate being a “secret”. But without an advertising budget, we have to rely on word of mouth to spread the word about our show. I hope you will help spread the word. And maybe one day we will have millions of subscribers. 🙏🙏🙏
Wow!! Harvey, what a beautiful and informative interview with this brilliant woman and devoted writer/editor. Thank you once again!!
Thank you so much for your steadfast support my dear wonderful friend. Love you!
Watching this superb interview was a privilege. The music, and the period, resonates with me as well. Thanks, always.
I’m the one who feels privileged to have you as a viewer

Thanks so much for watching. You’re right about Liz. I felt like I was interviewing a university professor.

This interview is strictly for die-hard Dylan fans. Anyone else will be bored. I’m just being honest
Joan Baez expected Dylan to help her in her career, as she had done when she was more famous than him. But he didnt.
She didn’t need his help. She is a legend

@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 Though Dylan didn't have the voice for his songs -- other singers/groups did his works justice.
@MsBackstager that’s for sure

@elstongunn4277 interesting perspective. Personally, I don’t care for his voice, but millions of his fans do.
