Hydraulic Gold Mining 1939

Hydraulic gold mining operation of placer deposit somewhere in the Yukon or British Columbia (possibly near Atlin, BC) in the summer of 1939. The price of gold was $35 USD ($750 in 2022 currency) per troy ounce, but operations like this were still profitable. The last scene shows my aunt Margaret Bennett holding a gold pan lined with placer gold, including a remarkably large gold nugget.
