This is so much better than the vast majority of upgrades for Blast from the Past I've seen. It seems like everyone else just threw money at the problem. Hella good work!
This upgrade looks really fun! I have a decklist built around Heliod, the Radiant Dawn, who I think would be a great fit here as well. He is a legendary creature so he synergizes well and gives all your spells flash, like vedalken orrery. He also serves as great cost reduction, which helps with being able to cast more historics.
Happy to hear that you enjoyed it and great suggestion! I honestly forgot this card existed but yeah, it is yet another budget way for us to grant our historic spells flash that can even do so at at least a 1 mana discount , so I can certainly see it slotting in to the build.
I think Captain Sisay, who can be a legendary tutor. I think Mystic Forge is a good artifact to consider it allow you to exile the top card of the library if it is something that is not needed it can also allow you to cast more than 1 artifact from the top each turn.
Glad you enjoyed it! Honestly, I would very much like to tackle a "Doctor / Time Lord Tribal" build but my schedule is literally packed with wrapping up the last Dr. Who Precon and the 4 more precons for Lost Caverns of Ixalan. Maybe when things die down a bit (if they ever do).....
Thanks! I've been wanting to make a 4 doctor commander game night set, and upgrading this one is the hardest. great ideas on all the switchouts. It's going to be fun to see the saga companions in Tom Bombadil I guess. Cyberdrive awakener is a beast in Tivit and I'm sure it'll do that here too
From what I found with a quick google search, I *think* Adric's copy effect should work just fine with once per turn effects? If there's something that specifically says an activated or triggered effect works an additional time, like Teysa Karlov, I'm pretty sure that won't work with once/turn, but isn't copying treated as its own instance?

Day 795 of waiting for the face reveal... damn, really been that long, huh. I wonder what I should wait for once you DO reveal that smug face of yours...

8:45 you say the eight doctor will also benefit from the flash speed, but why? it says you can only do it during of YOUR turns, no?

Soooo many of these upgrades are Universes Beyond cards. I am building this deck with exclusively UB cards and it’s gonna be hilarious lol.
