I just want to say that these are just picked moments from 1 bg which kinda illustrates what does it feel like to pvp as a warrior. I finished top on kills and had some great fights which i cut for obvious reasons and i will edit another video soon
What's the complaint as a warrior in the first clip..? You solo dove 5 people and got a kill before dying. Do you think warriors should be able to get more than 1 kill in a 1v5? Next you solo dive three warlocks and die (while doing way more damage than most other classes would do).. so what's the complaint? Third clip you solo dive three people then immediately run away while dotted and die. What's the complaint as a warrior? I'm just going to stop because the fourth clip is again you diving deep with no support and dying. Maybe you should reroll? Seems like you don't understand the warriors role in general and it only gets harder to play the class in a high burst meta without spell reflect.
@@jonnovak6856 its not about if its 1v2 or 1v3 its the fact that if you get couple dots on you or Inc cast while stunned/rooted there is nothing u can do to mitigate that dmg. Pala can bubble, rogue can vanish stun etc, mage can iceblock, priest can use dispersion, Hunt can stun or feign death, druids have barskin and now they can use their 30% bonus hp in boomy form. Every class can either heal or use a very strong defensive cd and stun while warriors still have 30 min shield wall and enraged regeneration which heals u for 130 tics for 10 sec while dots crit u for 600+. Once you get dotted you are dead even if u drop combat and start eating. Another thing is that our dmg is good against certain classes but again like i mentioned they can just use a strong defensive cd and delete you in couple second while as a warrior you have to swing your weapon couple times in order to be able to use your abilities and by the time you build rage and use hamstring, rend then MS - you are dead. Ofc i can pop reck and if im getting picked healed while none of the enemy team attacks me i can delete people in seconds, but thats a 30 min cd which makes you take 30% extra dmg while also being in berserker stance which makes u take extra 10% dmg. So yea if you have a pocket healer, pocket feral, pocket priest with homunculi maybe then you can deal some nice dmg and live longer than 5 seconds
@@Allgammon420 Yes, your last sentence hits the nail on the head. You volunteered to play the "crappy when unsupported, godlike when supported" class. This has always been true of warriors ESPECIALLY in vanilla. Grab a WF, a healer, and a mage and then play like a bouncer for the backline. Repel enemy melee and provide pressure (or kill windows) on overeager enemy casters. Having played ele sham in 2019 Classic and SOD, vanilla warrior (especially vanilla alliance warriors) have always been susceptible to deletion when they overextend. Nothing is new or unfair in this clip. Your class in this sandbox absolutely cannot be allowed to be strong solo or they'll be absolutely unstoppable when supported. That fact is like.. the essence of classic wow. You make decisions and trade offs.

All we need is a strong defensive CD, more ways to heal (make VR to be usable anytime on a 30 sec cd) and a strong dmg dealing ability so we can oneshot as well - something like colossus smash would be so good for warriors when we are fighting boomies and locks with twice as much armor than warriors
They really need to give Warrior sustain! Victory rush needs to be a book learned instead of Rune and be on a 15 Sec CD so you can heal in combat. Then give Warrior MoP Secon Wind. Like come on! I want to play some SOD but the state of Warrior and lack of QoL isn't it. A Warrior should fight through everything being a wrecking ball not flop over cause they can't use a bandage.
I would love to get the cata version of victory rush which is usable at any time not just after you land the killing blow. There are so many good talents and abilities which they could copy paste from cata, mostly the self healing stuff and that will make warriors more enjoyable
Have you considered that the clip isnt about charging in 1vX but more of the huge bursts of sod and the fact that war has 0 defensives? Shamans dealing 3k+ in a single global is fine to u i gues
That's the life of a warrior in all classic versions of the game if you do not have a healer with you, warriors in classic have no sustain at all. There's a reason why second wind is considered one of the best talents ever made when it comes to pvp.

idk why i even bother to answer sm1 that never played warrior in their life, but what exactly makes warriors "bonkers good"? dealing 200-300 non crit dmg against druids,priests,paladins,shamans,warlocks. While also having no self healing (besides useless enraged reg), no defensive cd's (Beside 30 min shield wall which also has less dmg reduction than priest dispersion). But yeah man warriors are pretty good in pvp thats why we are the least desired class for premades and other pvp groups.
Yeah this video is hilarious. I have a friend who plays their warrior EXACTLY like this then whines the entire BG. Like just stop holding W, dude. Let the other teams melee play like this video and then peel them and kill them. When the other team has no melee and is reeling start hitting the nearest backliner while ready to dip. It isn't rocket science.

Theres a reason why you dont see any warriors on popular farm spots. Because they fkin suck fat dongs. They cant kill mobs and they cant win most of the fights. And most of the fights against whom? Against rogues/shamans/paladins/hunters/SPs. You know why? Because they dont suck. And you telling me warrior bonkers good? Didnt know that 700 crit bis gear mortal is fkin bonkers good. How would you describe shamans then? They can oneshot almost any class in 2 seconds.
Seriously like it was okay in P1 cause we lacked the main abilities but we were able to dunk on ferals with enough gear but it doesnt even feel like you can do anything inpactful as a warrior when you die in 2 globals and you need three to get sweeping strikes into whirlwind/cleave up
Then your autoattack misses and you have to re apply hamstring again. Sadly i dont think wars will be good for pvp in sod, we are just gonna be 1 week 2h class for raids then you logout and go play spriest/boomy/ele if u wanna have fun in pvp
SOD pvp has been hell trying to do anything in WSG against a Druid in bear form so far the only class I can solo even if they are good is feral Druid that’s it other classes have way more built in BS to kite or just be totally immune to your slow dmg pally bubble while you just sit there and can’t kite out a pally bubble
yes but only few classes were able to oneshot in era and one of them is the warlock, but in order to oneshot they had to actually cast not just spam insta cast abilities while also taking 0 dmg
next time i will make sure to ask the horde if they can let me finish my 1v1 first or maybe i can use my totem decoy, dispersion, ice block, vanish, bubble, FD etc, but oh wait warriors dont have any defensive CD's beside 30 min shield wall which has less dmg reduction than 2 min cd priest dispersion that also provides mana
i think warrior solo in pvp has always just been a hard class because you have to charge in too 4+ people , just wait once we get arenas and we have a healer war comp it will be top tier

Paladins,shamans,,druids etc were unplayable as dps in era but here they are pumping the meters. Classes that were op in pvp but bad in pve now are op in pve and broken in pvp. Warrior used to be good only for dpsing or tanking and bad in pvp now warrior is trash in pve and even worse in pvp, so I dong really get your logic

One shot has always been in wow. I played classic through tbc and wotlk. Bring a holy pala with you for Blessing of freedom and some holy lights.

I agree with this, however in era at least you had a chance to win 1v1 or 1v2 while in sod you just get bursted down in couple of seconds

Warrior PvP in SoD is absolute dog shit. Worst pvp experience ever in 19 years of playing this game.
