It’s my 2nd year working f/home business, & I def struggled yr 1 with wardrobe- I had all of these office outfits & clothes that no longer fit my day-to-day life NOW! Gradually whittling it down to more of a minimal uniform type look, but still casual. V neck tees, sometimes concert tees, jeans, sweaters. All in black, grey, pops of wine or deep burgundy shade. I love seeing what others choose for their work uniform! Thanks
Great video! I like your style, it’s similar to mine. Where did you buy your shirts? I like to accessorize with scarves. It’s a simple way to change up things.
Thanks for watching! Most of my sweaters come from all over the place, but the majority are from Madewell. Their pallet just seems to suit me. My t-shirts generally come from Target!
I really love the idea of reducing the number of clothing items I own since I'd rather have a few pieces that last than many items. However, I have to ask: how often do you do laundry in order to minimize your wardrobe? I just figure that there must be a tradeoff there or somewhere else that one has to consider before making changes.
lexi williams great question! Logic would say I do more laundry, but I rarely wash my nicer clothes which are the ones I kept around. So I probably do laundry about the same. I avoid washing my clothes because it reduces their wear-life. As I downsize even further I probably will do laundry more, especially as I even further reduce the amount of workout clothes (I workout quite frequently) that will mean doing laundry 1-2 times a week. Currently I do it once every 1-2 weeks. There’s definitely going to be some sort of trade off whether in time or money for the cost of energy. We just have to pick our priorities!
Hello from Chicago 👋🏻 Just found your channel and really like your content so far :-) Capsule wardrobes are difficult to pull off in my workplace- people actually notice each other's clothes and I've heard catty comments made about people who only had a few shirts on rotation 😐
Great idea!

Jessie Lawrence ohh I love the concert tee look - Especially as a work uniform! Thanks for watching!
Nice love having a work uniform saves me some mental space and your outfits are super cute.
Candice Marie thank you!!
We're all about dressing for comfort at the office. Suits and ties are nice, but nothing beats some jeans and a polo shirt! Cool video!
Stephen Rischall love the casual approach!
Holy shit - we have the same wardrobe!! 😂😄
Wardrobe capsules are the best
Lol - Yes girl!!

Dorota K hello!! That’s too bad! I hope someday it will be “the new black” to wear the same thing every day! ☺️
