@SordidusFellatio Once I managed to get E6 Xueyi, she stopped coming now Misha comes through the pulls, he is E4 now, I hope then Gallagher would come. I had to do 160 pulls in a single banner, 79 went to Bronya and then Ruan Mei at 160 (81) 😭 Well Luka, March, Acheron 4star lc came as well, so I can't even win my 4 star 50/50 let alone be 5 star.... 😭😭

@@NEXTVRAINS no, that’s actually pretty ez lol. Playing the game as it should be is fun, so I’m not bothered by explorations. I just spend an hour a day in hsr if it’s not dailies and weeklies, on majorly the explorations and questsand such. It’s been fun dude.

Moc and pf buffs are not as harsh and demanding as apoc shadow rn though. Pure fiction as a whole served to buff erudition characters, not only Argenti. The buffs in both modes not only rotates in favor for new characters, but also can randomly be in favor for fua/dot/something else. Apoc shadow rn is HEAVILY focused towards firefly(and boothill) This mode presents not only simple buff that can encourage some playstyle but making the boss (cocolia specifically) fucking unbreakable stonewall unless you WILL consistantly BREAK her and her ice shit, like it's not even a competition there's currently only two event break damage dealers
I just really don't like what way things are going, Acheron was trully op on her own but the whole ass game never before fully revolved and danced around one single character with two required supports btw. Luckily one of them is free, but there would 100% new event harmony that uses superbreak mechanic. And it's not like Firefly is fare better than Acheron on her own, it's just the meta became so ruthless. Hoping that in future apocshadow rotation won't be as demanding
@@cringe_magistr its a break focused game mode and we just got super break as a mechanic along with two new 5 star break units. the only two break units released in the wake of super breaks conception. ofc its going to be limiting since its new. just like how dot game modes/buffs are limiting if you dont have kafka/swan. pf is limiting if you didn't build erudition or the character focused buffs.
i can clear moc, i can clear apoc, i cannot clear pf since i don't have dot or followup teams and didn't build herta himeko.
@@DoopIiss isn't apoc supposed to be hunt focused? Ok, for example, as a ftp, I personally cleared previous pf without an erudition character using blade hc and clara fua team. Mode as a whole encourages erudition/destruction and buff encourages fua. There's a lot of flexibility in building new teams, because even though buff was made for robin, she's far from required, moc might even be better mode for her since her ult there can easily save you couple of cycles. There's vast amount of characters that falls into categories I talked by this point, strange if you don't have at least some of them
However apoc rn is brutal without at least one break team. It's not like endgame doesn't meant to be hard, but as I said there isn't really any flexibility rn, you can try and built different comps but it simply won't be as good as break firefly team. And if your account is erudition focused, don't even bother trying at least without ruan mei. Maybe I didn't experimented there enough, but if further apoc buffs would be as demanding, so you are almost required to use dot/break/fua/sertain character it's gonna be devastating
@@cringe_magistrhonestly break comps are just so flexible that you don’t really fall off without firefly. i had quite a hard time with survivability in the first half with my e0 acheron but the second half was an absolute breeze and i cleared it with superbreak *asta*.

@@koushuu lol I agree however the problem is not that. The problem is that to clear this higher floors you need a very well built character and doing that in this game is quite hard as you are restricted when it comes to relic sets and my luck ain't good enough to roll all relevant stats

Apocalyptic shadow just a new end game mode to keep us entertained,some will pass it with no difficulty at all,some will pass it with little difficulty and some will stay weeks on it trying to get the last score.
I don't have firefly and i was able to clear it the first day.
(Boothill carried me in his back tho,Acheron in the first half i had to play very carefully to be able to get the minimum necessary score for her team)

An idea for an account challenge would be to have the account only pull on one character and their reruns until you e6s5 them, while being able to use whatever you pull alongside the character.

I beat Apocalyptic Shadow fairly easily. 1st team I used Seele Hypercarry (Seele, Tingyun, Bronya, Fu Xuan), 2nd team I used Sushang Super Break (Sushang, HMC, Ruan Mei, Gallagher), and the limited characters don't even use sig LCs. Got 6800 points total, so I am happy with it. It was also pretty fun imo.

If only we had 2 Harmony MCs right?! I never thought I'd see the day when I wish I had an extra MC in HSR lol. Super impressive to full star Apocalyptic Shadow lv. 3 on a no wish account. I feel like that was starting to require some focused play and I was using Firefly and Acheron teams. Haven't gotten around to floor 4 yet but from what I hear the difficulty spike is as big as from 2 to 3.
if you have Acheron & Firefly, than it's easy. I just cleared it 1st try in the 1st day with
Acheron - Bronya - SW - Fu Xuan (1st half)
Firefly - HMC - Ruan Mei - Gallagher (2nd half)
note : luckly i have a e2s1 Acheron as a f2p (I'm really grateful that i decided to pull her on Raiden Mei's birthday, sweet low pity. Even when Yanqing suddenly appeared at my 75/25 LC banner lose at that time ☠️)
MoC and PureF are modes that also encourage you to pull for certain chars in order to have a easier time. But they are not mandatory to beat it. With the release of apocalyptic shadow, i feel like that changed since they not only pretty much require you to play a certain kind of comp by the buffs the mode provides but also reduce dmg taken unless you fulfill the conditions. As a DoT user the current Apocalyptic Shadow was harder then it should've been to 12 star.

Whatever the case may be, expect 300 standard pulls to happen very, very soon. No completion of MoC12, Apoc 4 full clears has been happening. IDK about PF tho.

But the numbers don't lie; 5 more weeks by completing SU weeklies and he has reached 300 standard tickets. Seeing how you barely was able to finish difficulty 3, AS4 seems like a long ways to go, same with MoC12 i suppose. idk if the xueyi or the gallagher could help ur account, but it def was able to cross that one hurdle of yours. Never bothered with clearing fully since genshin. I play for myself and I am not required to finish the challenge if it's not bringing satisfaction, so I don't stress over it at all
as someone who has 12 stared apocalyptic shadow (only because of a lucky firefly pull) i firmly believe that it isn't difficult in a satisfying way in its current state. i hope the future rotations are better

I know this isn't the point of the video, but the FF13 music out of nowhere made me want to pick that game back up again. I started playing it in May, but I got super into Star Rail and put it on the backburner at about the halfway point. But now, I want to play it again. Great game.

HMC is such a beast despite being a fake 5 star, if only they could implant Img weakness or do colorless break, they would've been a true GOAT.
That's probably what the next super break based limited 5 star harmony character will do. Mihoyo will probably eventually add a replacement for HMC.

Honestly, I think HMC is literally the only true 5🌟 MC in any MHY game. We can't call HMC a "fake" 5🌟 with them being a character with so much power as to open up a new meta and bring forgotten characters out of limbo.
In fact, I never liked seeing HMC (or any other form of MC) in 4⭐ only showcases, it's like, their star amount is still 5, them being "100% free" for me was never a valid reason.

Off-Topic, just something I wanted to share: I have this weird little tradition when rolling Relics. Every 5th relic I roll, I completely full-send it 0 to 15. And for some reason, I almost always roll well on those pieces.

I like the varied endgame content, although at this point the release of each one individually is too spread out, they should switch to weekly even if they have to reduce the amount of rewards slightly to keep making the big money.

Start of the Break Effect Era was fun. But firefly ruined it imo. Everything needs you to break or else work you gotta work the hard way. Not to mention the new Divergent Universe also favours Firefly more than anything. Apocalyptic Shadow also seems to be Break focused but can still be cleared with other units. Though kinda disappointed since it did not turn out to be single target based.
In divergent universe dots can crit its certainly not all just break favouring. Also boothill benefits as much.

The Destruction blessings all had these HP gimmicks to them as well as the characters, Now after firefly release they reworked the whole path to favour break so the old destruction characters won't get the advantage compared to firefly. Weighted curios are a straight up scam most of the time and you can clearly see the Firefly favouritism in those. Yeah, Ok, It might not be all Break Favoured but you will still find it very hard to clear the harder bosses and difficulties if you're not using Destruction Break Blessings, Equations and Firefly. Oh yeah, don't forget you would need good RNG to get your Non-Firefly Characters to stand a chance because this gamemode is heavily RNG based as well.
@@myself-moons divergent universe has diff blessings from regular simulated universe. Like dont get me wrong destruction is a lot more break centric now but it also has break agnostic blessings too as well as the general use ones. The weighted curious are team agnostic af, most of my runs dont get good ones for my ff break comp.

Plus the path now makes everyone deal super break damage so why are you saying it's difficult without firefly lol. I love Using Hanya with Firefly before I got Ruan Mei I like to use HMc for other units besides firefly sometiems for more fun
I personally am having an easier time with Apocalyptic Shadow than Pure Fiction... i beat AS day one with ease. But i always struggle with Pure Fiction. My honest thoughts is that each endgame mode explores a differect kind of strategy in the game combat system, which depending from person to person, some might have an easier time with the quick bodycount from Pure Fiction, while other's might have an easier time killing an omega boss like in Apocalyptic Shadow... i think all of them are great and adds a good variety to the game.

Firefly was the one to FINALLY give me 12 stars in memory of chaos. In apocalyptic shadow though? My Acheron is showing me her relics are shit. Even though i thought they were good. Cocolia on e4 is fucking savage. Shes so fast and in the final stage she just ults again and again and again. LIKE HOW MANY THINGS DO YOU HAVE TO DROP ON MY HEAD WOMAN?!

firefly carried me through moc and acheron was struggling so hard against cocolia.
thankfully i was able to do it after a lot of pain
cocolia fight was easy for my acheron team, the problem is argenti since i dont have Ratio built and no firefly..
If you do use the 300 standard banner pulls you can easily change this series to “no limited banner pulls” account
