I'm old and grey now too, and this song came out when I was just a kid of nine or ten years old. It is really hard to believe that so much time has passed since then. But this song is not only a masterpiece, but an absolute classic as well. It has stood the test of time well.
I'm still young, and my wife too. Our boy is 2 moths left to be born, and I hope we become grey together and still listen this beauty like you guys!

One of the best things about this fantastic cover is the balance of the mix - the whole thing doesn't collapse in on itself in an avalanche of noise. Nobody's trying to be a hero and out-duel the other members. Shows that you can't go wrong by calling in adults who can put their egos aside and concentrate on the quality of the finished product. That being said, you first have to be skilled at what you do. The inclusion of that fine steel player is just the coolest thing ever - who has the luxury of even _doing_ that to begin with? -Such as vibrant, energetic cover of this classic!

This is great, as usual. With that said, something that HSCC should be mindful of: One of the charms of watching HSCC in the early days was the modest environs of the videos. Seeing five musicians in street clothes crammed into a studio made the enormous sound and performance all the more surprising and surreal. These grander settings dilutes that effect. TH-cam is about novelty and niche. Audiences have at their fingertips any and all content. We can gorge on watching famous bands playing in arenas, baseball stadiums, city rooftops, beautiful beaches etc. We come to channels like HSCC for the thrill of finding great, unknown talent in a remote corner of the internet, hiding out in their basement or squeezing into a sound room. You would do yourselves well to avoid the trappings and visuals of superstars. Keep it simple. Keep it “underground”. Less sizzle and more steak. That’s your brand.

Sweet Jesus I have heard nothing but excellence from Jordan since his first track but this one is on another level. He did so much justice to Elton's vocals on this! And of course the band and Kat are on point and perfect as always. Did Kat's outfit come with free defibrillators for us viewers? Respectfully and not to objectify her in any way, she looks absolutely stunning.
These guys are the standard for cover bands.
