Nice! Just wondering one thing though How do you mean politics - as in - "without politics blurring up my optics"? You have a lot of political themes in your songs (inequality, the environment etc) so it just seems odd to me because I didnt think it seemed like you meant the other sort of usage of the word (this sort of one: "done or acting in the interests of status or power within an organization rather than as a matter of principle."), but maybe you did? Just couldnt really work it out...
