Naughtydog at this point is a remaster machine and the people at the front of the company well... I hope astroboy somehow brings back platformers in some significant way.

my dumb theory i wish would be true, is that a remake has been being worked on for awhile which will be announced at The Game Awards and released around early 2025 for the 10th Anniversary. Not gonna get my hopes up, but if it was gonna be announced at anytime, the time would be now. Honestly don't think this trailer means much either, I'm thinking more about the Anniversary coming up.
