I don't know if Caesar is really that resilient or not, but he has won in just about every video of EDH that I've seen him in. His ability to recover quickly after each board wipe is the key, but if you don't do that then he runs away with value. He's definitely one of the strongest commanders to come along in a long time.
Where is the person that was complaining last week about not enough interaction? I'm guessing it's gonna be crickets. Great game you guys! And Toxrill in this game was wild completely warping the game just like the excuse people use for Primeval Titan guess we gotta ban the Slug now to lol
nah say what you want about caesar, obviously the aristocrat list she had is great ceasars ability to play into making so many opportunities to trigger other cards such as etb or sac, and is able to even further just smack you in the face after a turn or two with a couple token of doublers aka mondrak etc. you can straight up drain life and take it all away in an instant. combod with isshin its to lovely. i am caesar glazer
You have to protect Mothman. I have a mothman deck and every time I play him the table is teaming up to get rid of him. If allowed to just exist on the board he can grow out of control in a just a few turns. All he would have to get is 21 power and you can start killing people. So Mothman is a kill on sight type of card.
Should sauron live through the blasph act since his reanimate is on cast which brought back the scholar who brought back the blasph act all before Sauron was even on the field?
Interesting! I know this is a late response but I think you are actually correct. I think maybe they played it as an ETB effect instead, but yeah Sauron probably should have lived through that!
Mothman is def up there (as someone who has upgraded him) I think the main culprit to why the moth player was targeted was bc the toxrill and clone. toxrill doesnt really do anything for the deck its just an insane over the top mythic that takes over games. The recursion made it to where it was always loaming and basically said 2 decks didnt get to play so thats my theory on why he was targeted so much but might be wrong lol.
Similar type of interaction with Wise Mothman as well. Both Mothmen see two nonlands being milled so each can put one counter on two creatures, meaning both would get two +1/+1 counters when anyone mills two or more nonland permanents.

At 13 minutes in you have 2 toxril out, and you give 2 counters to all creatures, and then said all creatures get - 2-2. shouldn't they be - 4-4 because 2 instances of all creatures get - 1-1 per slime. Counter?
Try and educate your players kindly-- save your counterspell if someone is going to win the game that turn, or use it to protect your win. That was just BM to counterspell the wise mothman!

Plus, each Toxrill has a Slug-creation trigger so he should have made 8 Slugs, since 4 creatures died.
