Living with parents in adulthood is becoming a norm now especially in Europe, UK, Canada and in most western countries. There's no more shame attached to it as people see the positive side of that arrangement. At least the loved ones are taken care of, keep them off the streets and prevent them from getting into dangerous life situations.
Hello Georgia! Firstly, big hugs! You have went through so much in the last 10 years, im sure moving home feels like a warm hug 🤗. Embrace and enjoy life in the UK, remember to take your time and see where life takes you.❤❤❤
If you find you don’t have as much in common with your old friends anymore Internations is a great way to meet other expats (or Brits who have previously lived abroad). There’s a huge Internations community in London
Wow Georgia! It's been around a year and a half or more since I last saw your video and first thing I noticed is you look more attractive😅. I don't know what changed, but that was my thought. And I can relate with your words, if you lived in various countries, you leave a part of you behind in each. You gained experiences though and your perception has been widened. You'll start noticing that now that you're back with your own people
Dear Georgia, Nice to have known you and having you here amongst us all these while. Understand your wish to return home and wishing you all the best in UK!
Sounds like you’re doing a great job of looking after yourself & putting yourself first - it’s admirable! Best of luck with re-adjusting back into UK life, you will smash it!
Wow ten years! Ive been in asia 16 years but dont think i can make the move now. I think the transition back is harder but after a few years you should be okay.
I last watched this channel way back during Covid. Where’s the guy ah? I started watching because he was an Angmoh who drove a pick up truck in Singapore. 😅😅
More Q & A’s would be good, this is super helpful. I always think about moving back especially as my parents are getting older and this answers a lot of the questions I have 🙏
I've lived in 3 different continents- the rain and lack of sun all year round will get you lol! Also, many ppl around you haven't lived abroad/don't read books/read the daily mail/have small town mentality.... so there's that part to look forward to too lol.
What area of UK did you return to? I struggle with the idea of moving back to Scotland due to the mostly cold, grey and windy weather versus my LA life but in the south of England the weather is quite a bit better.
Hi Georgia Hope you’re doing good. I’m a viewer from Singapore who used watch your Singapore videos from the beginning. 😊 I’m thinking about moving to London under skilled visa. Will it be a good move instead of staying as E pass holder in Singapore ? It would be nice if you can share your personal opinion. Thank you 💛
I came back to the UK after 14 years in SEA, back 1 year and will be leaving again very soon. The UK is in free fall. Failing fast..
enjoy!

A town a little north of London.I don’t think she’d mind my divulging the location but I leave it up to her to whether to be more specific.
I’m in south east :)
Cherish times spending with parents....I kinda missing those days even after I have become a parent myself.
Definitely, I won’t get those years back!

sorry I have noo idea about visas here!
Can you say more about why it is more of a struggle to live on your own in winter, I guess, as compared to the other seasons?
I just get really awful seasonal affective disorder depression and with the shorter and darker days, I know I’d really struggle with my first winter!
Don’t forget to water the plants
Yes, I fancy if Dick Whittington were starting out today, he'd head for Berlin rather than London.
Its safer abroad...
You seem to come from an extremely privileged background in the UK. Private estate, grounds, drivers, catering etc?
huhh?
@@GeorgiaCaney Its giving me like a UK version of Paris Hilton. Ok, I can vibe with that. Enjoy the transition. I like your channel.

making me sleep everytime
Tell me your real age in next vlog
Thanks
