I can't wait to get back to hunting, it's been a couple years since the last time I got to go, I'm hoping moving to Alaska next year changes that. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
For the beginning blacksmith, this is a great way of forging an item on day 1. The downside is that you won't develop your skills. An experienced smith should be able to knock off hooks completely freehand and have them looking identical or almost identical.
Your cost of the steel alone should run $1.25 - $2.00 per hook I sell these for 2.25 each so I would go in the 5.00 range at least, it really depends on how much you charge for labor. I appreciate you watching.
This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for: simple, quick to make, easy to replicate, and sells. Nice job.
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!

I’ve been making these in marine grade stainless steel. How much do you think they are worth per hook?

Do you finish them off with bees wax?
Beeswax or boiled linseed oil make a great finish for them, sometimes per customer request I even paint them with ceramic spray paint.
