Did you say to turn both units on and leave them on for 15 minutes before filling?

How long does it takes to fill an E cylinder tank?

  • @JabberCT

When I hook up the tank and turn it on, the only light that comes on says "O2 below normal". It never says filling.

Make sure the oxygen tank if closed (Righty Tighty) or it will never fill

Make sure the concentrator is also on. Also if it is a 5l concentrator (the Bottom)
make sure it's set to 3lpm or lower or it will not fill.

Hi I’ve looked everywhere but my question is how many times can you use a cylinder to full the concentrator before you need a new cylinder. The one I use still had o2 in it . It’s a D , Din/in. 4.3,ht/in.16.5 …

What size cylinders/tanks can be filled with these systems? If you already have the tanks/cylinders, is there an adapter that can be used to connect them to the transfill system?

I need help, my Dad has a homefill system from Aerocare.. They recently replaced the bottom oxygen concentrator for a quieter one.. We are on our second top piece that fills. Its not doing anything, I have checked the clear hose that runs from concentrator to the filler and nothing comes out. No air do I feel.. Not sure what's happening but no tanks are filling.. The light indicates they are forever eternally filling filling filling, they never get to full... Not even after 24 hours, Please help !!

This was very helpful, but limited. For example, the machine comes in two parts: the top one to fill the tanks and the bottom portion to provide continuous oxygen. Well what happens when you have to move the machine to a new house, such as to a relative's house for a few days?
You can take the machines apart easily enough but how do you connect the oxygen tube from the bottom machine to the top machine? It is spring loaded but I can't get the spring to engage. So I can't get the tanks to re-fill.
Also I was told by the company via phone that you have to empty the tank completely before re-filling it. So I emptied the tank, but now can't fill it (as the oxygen tube between the machines won't engage).
Also there are two valves on a tank: one that provides the ongoing oxygen to the patient, it's on the side (by the brass valve) and one on the top, with the handle that flops over. I was told that when filling the tank the top value must be closed so the tank fills and that you only open it when emptying the tank. This whole procedure wasn't mentioned in the video either.
Please add the little things that cause problems once you actually use up your first tank or move the whole machine from house to house and have to start from scratch.
    Thnaks
