Great info. I've been looking for a comparison video of a light that's intentional for growing 'fruiting/flowering' plants from companies like ac infinity, spiderfarmer, or mars hydro. Most of the par readings of their main lights are a bit powerful for aquariums but I've found supplemental lights from the same companies fall into the par that's recommended for our use. AC Infinity has the IONBEAM S11/S16, SpiderFarmer has the Glow30, or Migro has the Aray 1. These all have a better PAR and spectrum chart than charts provided by some of the 'high end' lights.
I have some experience with plants being immersed but they weren’t fruiting plants. However my paludarium plants are flowing just fine with a cheap hygger light.
@@AquascapeOdyssey Yeah the lights I mentioned falls within the prices of hygger. The glow30 is I think 55. The other two are I believe in the 80-90 range. They have way better charts than the 'aquarium' lights. I tried the Migro Aray 1 and it seemed a little strong @ 25% but at sub $100 while all testing better in par and spectrum. Just throwing out content ideas if you'd wanna do a comparison, it'd be something i'd watch. :D
@@sydrickflores4242 Ill have to do some reach search on how to test them. But if I can figure out how to measure them. I'd be more than happy to create more data/ numbers driven video.
