Hello, I'm Jennifer's Pastor, wanted to let you all know how important it is that we grieve together. Jennifer's family will likely not hear any information about cause of death anytime soon. It could be months. But Jennifer was found by her mother in the morning, and she had passed away. It is very hard for all here to comprehend, but the outpouring of love is known and appreciated. We are planning to record Jennifer's Memorial Service this Saturday and after edits it will be posted on Rolling Roads Baptist Church TH-cam. Love to all from Jennifer's family, friends and community. ❤️‍🩹

A lovely tribute Faith. Jennifer’s learning and intelligence always awed me and she had such a range of interests from K-pop to Napoleon to Richard III and Penny Dreadfuls. As you said she was so full of life and enthusiasm for so many things. My heart breaks for her family and she will be so very missed.

One of her last videos just popped up in my "Watch Later" playlist - she talked about rereading A Tale of Two Cities and how much she loved that book, and the beautiful ending. And of course I could only think of the end of the book, and how much it reflects her reality now: "..it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."

Such a wonderful and thoughtful tribute. When I saw the video her mom put out I started balling my eyes out. It hit so hard because Jennifer seemed like a family member so to speak. I looked so forward to her videos. I don’t think those who have followed her will ever get over it. I hope at some point we will find out what happened, not because we are nosey but because we cared about her so very much. Thank you for taking the time to upload your thoughts.

I've posted the obit for you. I'm like you, just stunned. Jennifer was the first booktuber I found. I was doing a Classics search. This was a few years ago and I've watched her ever since, she was my favorite. I noticed too that her last video she posted for us was the day she passed away. You know, it's funny in this day of social media how much you come to care for people you've never met.

Thank you, Faith, for sharing your appreciation of Jennifer. I am fortunate to be a fellow church member of her and her mom and I love hearing everyone's contributions about how she enriched your lives. She has always been a gem, a genuinely warm and kind, intelligent person. I joined a book club a few years ago and had just started listening to some of her podcasts. She had me curious about Wilkie Collins, so I'm going to choose one of his novels for my book club to read this year in her memory. I'm happy that we have so many videos of her that we can still watch, but I so wish there could be more. She truly had so much more to give! But you're right, she lived and loved every moment. Her mom said she would see something as common as a little bird or a bunny and be enthralled with it. There's so much we can learn from Jennifer's life. She made the world a better place, and may we all work to that end. God bless you, Jenny!

It still is hard to believe, I enjoyed watching her videos silently. I commented a couple of times. One of my favorite videos of hers was her sharing her thoughts on Moby Dick. I had just finished reading it and it made me happy to hear her appreciation for it because I loved it also. I also liked her second channel since I like journaling also.

Thank you, Faith for sharing such a heart felt tribute of Jennifer. She was one of the first booktube channels I happened upon and watched regularly. She made the reading and study of antiquity sound interesting and intriguing. I also loved her dry wit. I remember her in one video discribing the way books felt in one's hands and that they needed to be floppy and stay open as she held up an example of a floppy open book. I laughed and agreed whole heartly with her. I too as everyone is in shock with her passing. It really does seem impossible. May she rest in peace.

I am very glad to see that Jennifer is remembered with this tribute. I was a fan for a short time and was shocked at her passing, I was becoming a big fan. Her year was planned out as to her reading which shows she was not expecting to not be able to do it. I have found that the ight in the world has dimmed with her passing. I have not gotten over it to this day. So thank you for this. I mentioned her on my channel, too, but know one was familiar with her I am sad to say. Thank you again.

I started watching Jennifer a few years ago when I was looking for booktubers that read classics. I am still in shock. I don't know if it's because my mum's a nurse and I am just more observant when it comes to looking at people and seeing if they are okay, but I noticed that she didn't look very well. She looked pale and drawn, and when I heard that she said she was feeling sick, I became more worried about her.
I found her channel back in 2020. It was pretty early on in the days of her youtube because I loved listening to her speaking about classics because not a lot of booktubers discuss classics. She inspired me to read books that I never would have picked up otherwise. For example, she got me to pick up Wilkie Collins and other Victorian authors.
She also earned my respect by how she spoke about Richard III who often gets a bad reputation just because of somebody who wrote a propaganda piece about him...

What a heartfelt tribute to a beautiful soul. I couldn’t agree more with what you have said- I’ve surprised myself all week with the depth of my grief I have felt for Jennifer all week- someone whom I have never or was ever likely to have met, only ever chatted together over the internet. You made me smile talking about Moby Dick as up until Jennifer had read that, I would have said our reading tastes were almost identical- we both loved Wilkie Collins and I really loved a lot of the ancient classics that she introduced me to. However, Moby Dick has the dubious honour of being the book which I had to work the hardest to get through- I really did not like it, and when I saw Jennifer’s holiday vlog of her reading that book, I was gobsmacked by how much she loved it! I did jokingly message her saying I’m not sure I know who you are anymore😂 I know a lot of people will be mourning her greatly and I appreciate the opportunity to talk about her here. Thank you xx

It is so bittersweet to remember a friend gone too soon. Thank you for this tribute to your friendship with Jennifer. I wonder if she just found the way to Heaven and decided to go for it. She sounds like such a remarkable person she could have meditated her way out of the suffering of this world and into the arms of Jesus. I lost a friend locally about the same age for unknown reasons... well, this was about 2006. Her name was Janeen, and she was remarkable in her own way as a special needs struggling person - but what a pure heart she had! This world had no hold on her. She was about 32 or 33 when she left us for unknown reasons. Whenever I see a dime lying on the ground I think of Janeen, and there have been a lot of dimes over the years. Her parents were finding dimes too. We talked about that. We were blessed to know these young women and I think it is clear their better life was and is with Jesus, not here.

Lots of young people are dying suddenly ever since the-you-know-what was pushed onto people and we weren’t allowed to question it without being shouted down. It could be the you-know-what. It also could be genetics, poor diet, lack of exercise, etc. We don't know and probably never will. That information will likely stay private with the family, which is their right. Jennifer brought a passion and knowledge to books. I loved hearing her views on classic literature and she introduced me to a few authors that would not have been on my radar before. I will miss her too. I always enjoyed paying a visit to her site. 31 is too young. I am old enough to have been her father so I can relate to what the OP is saying. As I get older, I appreciate how fragile is and how precious little time we all have. Don't forget it.
