Thank you! I bought a C.Silvia today and wondered exactly what was going on - seeing your two examples helped me understand the colour variety from leaf to leaf ❤ I adopted a Beauty Star and Ornata also. The 3 plants' colours compliment each other beautifully.
I bought a calathia by accident. It was beautiful and I had no idea how high maintenance they are. It says the plant isa roseo picto. I t looks nothing like yours. I found your video in attempt to find specific care for it. I will now try and determine what I have, but really enjoyed your video. Thank you.
Your calathea are beautiful. I wouldn’t worry so much about video quality. We’re all here for the plants and information not the next oscar winning movie. Anyway I thought the video quality was just fine.
Congrats! It feels so nice to find your wish list plants. I also collect calathea as the are my fave and recently found the rosy, so I'm pretty stoked. BUT! my number one wish list calathea is the whitestar...I'm so jelly lol. You got some beautiful plants.
I'm not sure if someone else addressed your question for your Philodendron Brasil or not regarding the lightening of its color. I heard if you have some of your less tolerant plants in not enough bright light. That may be your issue. I love your Rosy and White Star. I just bought a Rosy and I already have a White Star and love it.
omg thank u so much ive been trying to identify this for the past hour. i went to my local supermarket today and found only two calathea i thought they were both medallions and they were both in terrible shape so the guy sold them both to me buy 1 get 1 free so i got 2 for £6.50 (about 10 usd). when i got home i noticed jus how different they were to my medallion and i have been on a mission to identify them. fingers crossed i can save them
I'm in luv with ur babies. I just got my Red Maranta and I'm so luv her😍 Question, what kind of soil did u use 2 re-pot ur babies? I would like 2 know cause my Maranta is 4".. Later I would like 2 put her in a bigger pot. Please respond back 🥰🥰🥰
I bought one though the mail was so wet water running out of box it's been 3 months has 2 leaves. After rinsing roots off with liquid zest I the roots aren't black anymore
I am really handling it with kid gloves! :) And dearly hoping the runners grow back soon. Any tips on care? I'm bottom watering for now and other than that-- cutting a wide berth.
@@AddyBeez Yes, definitely bottom water! Mine loved my sunny windowsill. I dont know why it took a sudden turn for the worse. It was gorgeous. They're very easy care plants. Fun fact, it's not actually in the begonia family! Another name for it is the creeping saxifrage. They're very popular amongst bonsai collectors too.
I did know it was a saxifrage (I am a known begonia menace), but had zero idea they were popular among bonsai collectors! That's fascinating. I'll keep bottom watering it and hope for the best. Sorry yours took a turn; sometimes it happens too fast to know what's going on. :(
@@AddyBeez Too true! It seemed to shrivel up on me in a matter of a week! Best of luck to you with yours! They're such facisnating little plants and they're truly adorable.
I know you did this video a while ago but could you do an update and care video for the rosy picturata? I got one that didn't look too happy and while it hasn't declined its not improving either and it's in the same space as my other Calatheas. It's even more dramatic than my white fusion!
Sure! I can take some footage of it and put it in my video for next Sunday (March 8th). I have two myself, one that looks great and is quickly maturing, and another that isn't doing as well. I'll show both. :)

Congratulations! I picked up one of these beauties last week and it PRAYS SO HARD LOL
Thank you! :) It cracks me up to see a row of my calatheas all praying together at night.

Is the pink supposed to be light or dark. Mine is almost maroon!
@Ayesa Mary Akhter north windows.
The more light the darker and more pink you’ll get. I love when it gets darker
Aww, my little strawberry begonia died! What a cutie yours is!

How do you make sure the pink stays pink? Lots of light or low light?
More light, just no direct light. Morning sunlight is good. In nature, Calatheas grow on the forest floor underneath trees and other plants.
Which etsy store did you get that from?

My daughter just bought one of these (pretty sure it 's the same
) reduced to 1 euro because one of the leaves was damaged. Now...to avoid killing it.
Good luck! 😊
Wow it's absolutely beautiful.. 😍
Though I'm struggling with them but I'm still not ready to give up on them..
Oh, I understand. I lost a good number of them this summer and thought I might be done but these calathea just keep pulling me back! 😊
My God so so pretty 🥰
It is my favorite (but they are all really my favorite)!!! :)
