I have a question for the gravel cyclist recently I purchased some WTB Riddler 45 and they felt great however I noticed the rear tire was rubbing my frame so I was thinking why not put a WTB riddler 37 on the rear and leave the WTB riddler 45 on the front being it’s not causing an issue. What are the negatives and positives to running a wider front tire
Hello Alex... there are a ton of riders who run a wider tyre on the front. There are no negatives, aside from knowing your tyres are not matched... that would bug me :) On the positive, a bigger tyre on the front would be handier in gnarlier terrain, think of it as a small bulldozer.
