This project will be the sharing of a special experience in which we hope you will want to participate.
Some of the musicians are established and famous, others are among the brilliant budding talent that adorns Pakistan’s musical scene. Each of the mehfils has a distinct atmosphere and mood, but there is a common thread. We asked each of the musicians to stay close to their respective inherited musical traditions, allowing the singers an opportunity to present some pieces that are rarely heard today.
We are inspired to present the brilliance of this contemporary Pakistani vocal music to a wider audience and seek your financial assistance in making this possible.

Only one thing I felt is that the two people on harmonium are tired and that can be heard in their voice.
Bit as usual Akhtar Sahab was superb and has flawless and smooth voice which hides imperfections of co-artists..

Eating Thai food where you only have limited halal options and choices, this qawwali turned out as those spices which add end flavour to food and urge you to eat more because of enhanced taste and smell. ( or should i say, i didn't care for the taste at all, while listening to this masterpiece).
This group has its own style of qawwali, which is far different than other qawwals who usually go aggressive with the adayigi sometimes. They are too soft and divine in their presentation.

No doubt of the poetry of Khawaja Ghulam Farid R.A is one of the masterpiece of siraiki language.. though he introduced some of the terms in his poetry which is hard to understand by listening.. it will be more good if share lyrics in siraiki.
