Umm there has only been one 30 this year.... And yes it wasn't deserved. But no I don't agree with you either about these two performances. Is this as good as Ashley Roberts, Karim's, Ore or Jay's? No way a perfect Jive.
This was the dance of the night for me! Maisie is incredible. The choreography was so complicated and quick. Couldn't even tell who the professional was, your eyes are just drawn to her. She deserved 30 for this dance. Why doesn't she get the praise she deserves??
Absolutely outstanding. It’s like everyone tries to pick fault with Maisie because she is absolutely brilliant and starting the show at great with natural talent doesn’t mean she hasn’t progressed too. She is outstanding.

She is indeed progressing, although when you start out at a good level, the improvements are harder to spot. It also means that the judges will give her what people see as a hard time over the smallest of things. Overall I think she is great and would actually do quite well if she tried open competition.
She did great. The trolls say they hate her because ‘she’s a white Essex girl’. Makes you wonder about this country...

Oh wow! One of the best Jives ever. Brilliant kick ball changes and she didn't miss a single toe heal swivel. She nailed the armography and totally delivered a show. There is so much content too from beginning to end. It was really like watching a real musical. She is a small girl so the Jive was granted to be a good one for her. I really feel like she has properly come out of her shell and is really delivering. I wonder what she will whip up for a couples choice? I think she would do a brilliant Jazz. But yeah as a Jive wonderful and the retraction and bounce to every step just stunning. I was disappointed it didn't get 30 (maybe because of the lift off the table). *10/10*
HRVYS dance had about 20 lifts when they were allowed three.. so
@@megan5529 the 3 lift rule hasn't been a thing since 2010 for speciality dances. Also HRVY didn't get a 30 either so what is the problem here
I can't wait for Maisie's couples choice it will be soooooo good, like you said all her flick ball changes were amazing and seeing as I dance myself I know how tiring they can get! She is the best in that competition!!! Xx
@@RW-ix8mb I think HRVY is better but she is fantastic. Her couples choice could be a 30 I think. She is very good but I wouldnt say she is the clear winner. I can't wait for her Viennese Waltz, that will be powerful and her Showdance 😲😲😲

If I lived in your country, I would vote for her. Poor girl.. she is really talented. Her technique is really perfect but she is always undermarked. This one deserved three 10’s :(
I also wish you were in the UK 🇬🇧 We need more wonderful people like yourself who appreciate talent when they see it 💛 People here are more interested in making it a personality contest than a dance contest 💃 and to top it off, the judges are biased too and have their own favourites 😔

The mere fact that you’re so triggered by what I said shows you’re the one who needs to come down from a high horse. I absolutely agree. Just her facial expressions alone as well as her dancing really shines. First time I have seen Maisie and as a fan of the 1986 musical film, she really gave her Audrey a real refreshing twist. 👍👏💞
Really difficult to fault that jive. Rhythm changes were executed perfectly, great energy and pointed and sharp kicks and flicks.
I swear to god if she is in the dance off I will be fuming !!!

I wonder what she has to do get “30”! She should of got 30 for this! She’s brilliant.
The show is rigged, they want HRVY to win and know she is his biggest competitor. Her dances have consistently been better than his and yet he keeps scoring higher than her.

@@DerekHartley it really wasn’t dull. Maisie’s dances have a lot more character than HRVY’s. With HRVY you can see that he’s trying to remember the dance and get the steps right whereas Maisie is a lot more natural and at ease when she dances.

I found the dress a little bit irritating and distracting.

She was very springy, confident and bubbly. Her feet where nice and quick and she kept up timing with Gorka. Costumes and song was superb! :) scores: 9, 10, 9 = 28

I thought Gorka struggled to keep up with her to be honest! I couldn’t tell who was the professional 🤷🏻♀️
She jived like a professional. There are some celebs who do the jive - and it's good - but they don't quite get the technique 100%, the off beat moves but she NAILED them - amazing!
THEY DESERVE TO WIN THE WHOLE DAMN SHOW.
I was looking very closely at Masie's feet.. and I could not find anything wrong! Technically it was THE BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT! Super sharp, great retraction of the feet during the kicks, wonderful precision, amazing sense of music, proper competitive jive choreography, fabulous synchronization with Gorka. It had a good pendulum action of the hips during the jive chasses as well. The shop might be a shop of horrors, but the dance was a dance of wonders! The dance was lacking a wow factor maybe, but technique wise it was SUPERB!!! Maisie's footwork was immaculate, it had all what it takes to make an incredible jive... with that blond wig she looked at times as Joanne Cliftone hahaha... for me it was FANTASTIC!!! Perfect sense of rhythm, perfect side by side work with Gorka, loads of proper jive choreography... and above all - an undeniably GORGEOUS leg action!!!
My score: a 10!!!
Really? I agree that she started of very well, but you didn't see her sickle feet and the flappy forward kicks she was doing by the end of the routine?

The judges favourites are clearly HRVY. Maisie performs a phenomenal routine (incredibly difficult) and makes no mistakes, doesn’t get a perfect score. HRVY makes mistakes and is pointed out by the judges, yet gets a higher score than Maisie. I’m fed up with the constant underscoring of Maisie. Just think, Motsi gave the same score for HRVY’s week 1 jive, despite Maisie’s being far more difficult and performed perfectly.

@@serendipity2229 I like HRVY, he’s my second favourite, but the inconsistency and favouritism of him and underscoring of Maisie, is just so wrong and blatant. I’m praying she gets an Argentine Tango next week, she will blow everyone away with that dance if she gets it.
It’s the fact that I want to see too many dances from her I just wish the weeks were longer! There’s the VW, paso, Charleston even the damn slow waltz. It’s just not fair :(

I loved her dance and i honestly for me it was the dance of the night ,it was quick it was lively and it was fun! But everyone can have an opinion on it.What i mean is the judges didn’t critique her one bit ,they didn’t point out an error and two of them still gave her a 9! Personally i find her dances the most fun & exciting but thats my opinion!
It's her feet for me. She starts off really well, with good retraction on her kicks and a decent foot, but as she goes on she loses the tone in her feet and by the end of the routine her feet have gone sickle and flappy. This is a small thing in the context of the whole routine (which I enjoyed very much), but on this show the people who show the most promise and ability at the early stages do come in for pin point criticism of the small things.
Maybe dance enough basic jive steps and less running and spinning and spotting and flailing.
Running around ?!She had so much content compare this to Jamies Jive(who i also love)that was mainly running around .And obviously they have to incorporate some storyline to it to entairtain the audience.Personally i think she had so much content.
im so annoyed motsi didn’t give this a 10, she knew she should’ve given it a 10. this was clean and there were no mistakes?

She mentioned continuing to work on the footwork, and there were several points where her feet weren't pointed during her kicks and flicks, so think that's why she gave a 9
@@alexandrakelsey7406 hrvy’s dance had mistakes too, i forgot who pointed it out (it was shirley or motsi) and they still gave it a 10. im just saying if they can give him one then they should’ve given maisie one too.

Let’s say that was phenomenal! She had energy, bounce, she was light on her feet and she really played the character. That was hard choreography Gorka made and she executed it perfectly. I don’t think she needs to work on anything. It’s a shame there’s no 11 paddles but 10!
I'm so fed up with those weird animations they constantly put up on screen, they totally ruin every dance.
But Maise was amazing as always
Such a complex, jam-packed, energetic routine executed to so nearly perfection. Some minor changes to hand and foot placements and this would have been flawless. 9.5

HRVY is clearly their favourite. Two weeks in a row, he makes mistakes or is out of sync, but gets scored higher than Maisie.
I was genuinely surprised Motsi didn't give them one. She normally does in these situations.

Might not have been the highest scoring, but this was my personal fav dance of the whole series.
This was my favourite routine of Maisie’s she smashed it!!
Motsi said yes full house then she scored 9. It was one of the best jive I have seen on strictly honestly.

Full of personality, energy, brilliant performance. I want her to get to the final so much, and I hope I'm not alone in rooting for her to win (although whether that will happen I don't know). A10! Plus, I don't know why Craig gave NO critique and yet gave it a 9? Just like Karim's charleston last year

wow, no matter how often you see her , Maisie just steals this every time. A pro dancer who didn't take the glitter ball, but it was hers from the start, all you have to do is watch this to know why.
I can watch this on repeat what a routine!
I hate to say it but this is the second week running that Maisie really should have topped the leaderboard. This was absolutely faultless - the rhythm changes, the characterisation, the energy and not one mistake. There was even times throughout when you couldn’t tell who the professional was. FAB-U-LOUS 10/10
(Also surely it isn’t me that though Maisie looked so much like Joanne Clifton tonight. My brain got so confused hahahah)

This is the second dance of hers I've watched and I'm shocked by how good her technique is! I am a ballroom dancers and I know how difficult especially Jive can be. So seeing her bouncing around like she has trained it for years and not just one week is so so good!

I think she wont be in the dance off. I think it might be jj and jamie. Im not a huge fan of maise theres no doubt shes talented but i prefer it when they've had no prior dance training and you see there journey from novice to amazing and maybe that's why some membersbof the public havent taken to her. However she deserves to avoid the dance off.
