I had Blue 73 and my dad had a gold 74. I'm 65 now and I have a recurring dream that I go into the basement of my home and my blue H2 is there. The dream is best when I take it out for a ride. I loved the bike. Perfect weight, perfect power to weight, all day comfortable and totally reliable.
I had one and believe me they were NOT built to handle well; they were built to go like hell in a straight line and vibrate like crazy. My girlfriends loved it!
When I was a Sr. in H.S. I bought a barely used '72 in 1974 with chambers, I added, 34 mm mikunis and had it ported ported...it was my first street bike as I had just stopped motocross racing (had an AMA expert license in 125cc)...it was crazy fast and mine had no high speed wobbles at all and I could even take Yamaha RD 350's in the curves...maybe it was all my motocross racing experience but to me it handled very well. FYI, I know it went at lest 144 mph as I got clocked by the police radar..
The Kawasaki H2 is probably the worst bike ever built. I was stupid enough to buy one when I was a teenager. It handled like shit. When I consider how I used to ride it I feel lucky to be alive.
NOTHING, absolutely nothing beats that beautiful sound !! RIP RIP
Fantastique !!!! Greetings from a ZRX owner. Mach IV 1972, my favourite bike of all time.
This is one of the great motorcycle designs of all time.

Hey guys..... Flip those forks around backwards so the brake calipers are behind... Better weight placement.
Great to see so many H2's together!
Me encanta Kawasaki 750 2T

I'm having trouble with the link, the forum is kawi2strokes and I posted this video in the Deals Gap section.
Cool vid. So many in one place.
Pěkná akce a pěkné stroje ...
Vraiment super, il est ou ce club H2 ?
The RG500 there outruns them original, though.: ) But really funny bikes they were!:)
If I saw all these on the road at one time I think I would need a lie down.
Link to the triple website I'm a member of. I posted this video there.
Keep the 2 strokes alive.
