Diagnosing and Solving the Issue
Digital multimeters are handy little tools for diagnosing battery drain. They are as valuable as other heavy-duty tools all techs need. To start, you connect them to the car’s battery pack with the ignition off. Once you turn the tool on, the reading will show whether there is too much draw on the batteries. It is the first step in solving the issue.
As for pinpointing where the drain is coming from, the old-school way is hit-and-miss. It involves pulling out fuses-one at a time-to see which ones affect the reading or reading is zero then you can diagnose the circuit of that fuse.

0.07 is min current consumption in every car which is run for engine embolization and some security system which will continue run in car also central lock system will work continues... to unlock car any time remotely . if that stop car wont unlock with remote so dnt wory if 0.07 is current consumption... if above 0.07 then current leak is there

If we disconnect the battery anti theft won't work
But in most of the case if resolved in 1st step but if not
Better to start and drive car atleast 2 wise a week for 10km

Sir meri car i10 megna hai or unme same problem aa raha hai Battery 10 din me totally discharged ho jati hai. Battery replace kar ke bhi dekh liya. Or auto electrician ne bulb 💡 se leakage check karne par koi problem find out nahi ho paya. Vo bata rahe hai ki service centre me scanner software se check karna padega. To sir kyaa positive ko switch se cut off kar sakte hai????

My car when we start the ignition the multi metre shows 9.62 but otherwise it is 12.65.
Does my battery have a problem?
No in ignition mode voltage goes down but after starting it must jumps to 12v or above within 1 to 2 sec then battery is good

Hi,.. Mere pass 43Ah ka 2 battery Hai, ek already installed Hai, dusre battery ko main apne celerio main parallel connect karneki soch reha Tha.. Issue koi problem hoga..? Parallel main voltage to same rahega per current bad jayega. Issue koi issue agega.? Ya koi components damage hoga..?

This is the Hyderometer to indicate battery is good or bad and if it is green then add distilled water otherwise add acid and distilled water both .

This is a very good video. I have a Honda-BRV and I have the same issue with it. Honda service center says they ran all tests but could not find any issue. However, the battery completely gets discharged in 5-6 days and I have to get it jump started. Please guide me.
Sir you have to check in this way only otherwise you have to remove -ve terminal everytime when you park your car.

Even 15 days can't drain battery so much that car doesn't start. This happens only when there is some electrical fault. 5, 6 days is surely a fault. You need to check seriously

Yes battery will not discharge one thing you can do that before removing terminal drive your car for 10 to 15 mins then disconnect

Dear I tried to unplug Negative Terminal of my car battery for saving battery. But after couple of re-fixing etc, my car Central Lock became faulty,, stop working. Possibly due to little sparking when connecting battery. Tell some other soulution also, please.

Do not remove the battery terminal every time just remove the fuse or add a switch between that

Meri carki battery ka gadi band hone par multimeter pe reading 12.4 se 12.6 tak aata hai
